I think UniFi will be available at my area by Q1 2011. Recently saw some people testing the box on the telephone poles and doing a quick check, another housing area near mine already is available.

Now, I don't know if I should go for the VIP10 or BIZ5. I do know that as soon as it is available, I'm going to apply for it.

VIP10 well I'm attracted to double the speed of a 5mbps, but thing is nobody knows when TM will implement the daily/monthly usage cap so I'll be disappointed if it is implemented in 2011 (which some rumors are saying). Apart from that, I don't need the TV channels.

BIZ5 is a safer bet as it is guaranteed to not have any usage cap but the speed is less by 2 times. Although I think BIZ5 should be good, but then downloads can be shorter by twice the amount of time.

Any suggestions/comments/insights?

But what about VIP10 to BIZ5? Both are RM199 monthly.

Guys, for the VIP packages, the STB is compulsory to be installed? I know there won't be any price reductions but what if I really don't want it, still have to be installed?
