Anyone have any ideas why my unifi connection is damn unstable? Connection keeps dropping, ALOT of rto when pinging both their DNS server.

Sometimes I need to restart both my router and VSDL modem when the RTO is 100%, after a while I can surf some websites. But once the connection is idle, it goes back to RTO 100%. Can't believe I'm paying 150 per month for this kinda internet.

Should I call them and ask? Would it helpful? I'm located in sunway btw.

Thanks.

TM's DNS servers is set to drop all ping packets, so your test isn't valid. Test with google.com better which should end up at the Cyberjaya mirror.  You are using wired or wireless to your router?

I'm using wireless. I decided to call them when my IPTV kept hanging because of connection problem. Today the connection seems better, less packets dropping. Not sure whether they fixed anything, or it's just a random thing. I must say their helpdesk is not that bad, they actually called me back and told me they're looking into this matter.

hi rizvanrp,

I tried to bridge the lousy tmnet router to my own router, following closely your guide, but it didn't seem to work. I tried both methods on your site, still it didn't work. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

I used belkin wireless g router. Could it be that the method doesn't work for this router? Thanks.
