Its a known and common issue. Get it warranty claimed!

Better still, request for a refund $$ and either change to Black Widow or other brand keyboards like me.

Ah Lycosa has a few known issue which cannot be resolved....best if you can ask for cash refund and opt for their other model like the Black Widow or go for other brands...getting back the Lycosa is like getting back a problematic keyboard even though they replace you with an entirely new Lycosa....

Mine had problems too and I opt for full $$ refund which they did...now waiting for my money to arrive and I ordered the Logi G510

yup, mine is in fact the Lycosa Mirror edition purchased just a few months back...problematic

Common issues for Lycosa both the normal version and the mirror edition :

1. Random keys not responding
2. Stuck key (pressed only once but the key keep responding over n over again)
3. Media panels not working

When any of above happens, user have to unplug and USB cable and plug it in again to temporary resolve the issue. The problem will manifest again after a while.

So to all Lycosa users and potential buyers of Lycosa, take note of these problems....if you guys do some google, u will find that this issue has been around since 2007/8 when the first Lycosa was launched. Was reportedly overcome by Razer and claimed only happens on 2007/8 batches only....but in fact it still happens to today's models as well as the mirror editions, the 2010 models are all still affected. Which also means, even when you get it claimed for warranty and being replaced with new units, the problems will still exist!

So far, never read any errors or negative feedback on Orochi.

sometimes weak battery can be the cause too.

Some guys just need to be spoon fed to such an extent.....it annoys me.....at least go read up in the manual that accompanied the BW or go download the user manual at razerzone.com

Lycosa design is sure nice...but u guys sure wanna get another? The issue with Lycosa isn't small. Random keys not responding & random keys stuck. Even a RM20 keyboard doesn't do that.

U must be very lucky to have gotten a problem free Lycosa

On the loose scroll wheel, don't seem to be normal, should refer back to your dealer / shop.

For better audio quality, I'd go for the JBL series. The clarity and the bass is astounding for the size of the unit. Go audition n u'll understand what I meant.

yes it is...can also run on AA batteries. Also has ipod dock.
