Which happens to be one of the selling point as well, the amazing clicky sound when the user is typing. Typewriter feel makes it great to use for typing. biggrin.gif
*
I know but it's too loud, haha biggrin.gif I guess it's subjective but I think if it's softer then it'll be great!

After seeing all reviews about Razer's higher end products here, I guess I should consider SS Kinzu seriously.
*
You should compare laser VS laser mouse smile.gif Obviously the optical mouse will lose out. For Steelseries, the Ikari Laser and Xai is good.

i think u mean optical vs laser?

anyway any naga user here experience high temp from the numbers panel at the side?
i find it hot after 4hours of usage..
*
I mean, how can you compare Kinzu (optical) with a laser mouse like Mamba, etc? smile.gif We need to compare of the same range (laser vs laser). Optical mouse is definitely no match for laser in terms of precision.

Hey guys, I plan to buy a Mamba.

Do you know current/latest price of Mamba? Which shop offers better price (promotion, etc)?
Thanks in advance.
*
Mamba is one of the worst mouse I've used smile.gif If you're planning for a wireless gaming mouse, I'd suggest you the Logitech G700 instead.

I think the problem about Mamba was discussed in this thread a few pages back. Try searching for "Mamba", it will show up smile.gif Basically it's an over-priced mouse. With that kind of money, you can get some other better products which are even cheaper.

I've sold it ages ago, I'm one of the first few that bought the mouse when it was launched. If you insist you want the Mamba then you can find a used one from Garage Sales section or Low Yat shops @ RM4XX

Bro, do you use Roccat Kone before? Is it a nice mouse?
*
I've never used Roccat. I had Razer Copperheard, Death Adder, Krait, Mamba, Steelseries Ikari Laser, Kinzu, Microsoft X8, Logitech K700. On top of that, a whole bunch of other mouse smile.gif

QUOTE(derekdiong1 @ Jan 17 2011, 04:43 PM)

whatever. Wisma Academy. im terribly confused and upset. my keyboard clearly isnt working on my PC but it works on TWO of their office PC. one is running Windows XP. i saw it work! but they dont want exchange. i come back update everything, including my razer firmware, still not working.  cry.gif  vmad.gif
*
If it's working on both their PC's but not yours, obviously something is wrong with your PC instead. At the same time, these keyboards are reliable.

but those who own it, try pressing F7 without pressing FN when playing a song. it mutes the song for me laugh.gif either way i'll get a new unit.
*
Spill a cup of coffee and RMA? biggrin.gif Just kidding. I think you should look for your original seller and get him to RMA for you if it's really not working.

Nope I haven't smile.gif I've tried a couple of soft mats, Destructor and now Ironclad. If you have the extra cash to spend, Ironclad is the way to go but I have to agree that it's very expensive.

I have 7 Razer products and they all work fine.

You should try some other brands to compare biggrin.gif After trying Steelseries, Logitech, etc, I can say Razer products are quite filmsy and lack the quality.

Not really, the SRP is far more expensive than market price. sweat.gif Market price is lower than RM350 yet SRP at RM389. doh.gif
*
If you can get RM350 for the BW Ultimate then grab it fast smile.gif It's a very good price. RM350 and RM389 is more or less around there. If you're expecting RM330 then it'll probably never happen. Good luck.

Mine was bought at RM340 in fact and i sure another RM10 off isn't hard as hell if you know how to bargain(or you bulking it)... sweat.gif
Yes, it's more or less around there smile.gif I wouldn't want to drive all over the place just to save RM10 so I settled for RM350 or so.

I'm thinking of getting the "ultimate" gaming accessories.

Razer Mamba

+

Razer Ironclad

+

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate

would set me back at a staggering +- RM970

...

which is more worth it, an upgrade to an i7 processor (from i3) OR getting these three?
*
The Ironclad is wonderful and I can assure you that smile.gif

I've used 2-3 soft surface mat and then ended up with Destructor. After I bought Ironclad, it's really a good mat and even better if compared with Destructor. I haven't tried Megasoma though but if you have the budget, go for the highest end biggrin.gif
