Hi all

my friend (an expat) came to Malaysia to work and now return to Ireland.
He subsribed Astro when he's working here and he unsubscribe it before he's back (all bill paid)

However, no one took back the dish and decoder from him.
He gave me both dish and decoder.

What can i do with this 2 device? (non-Beyond)

Can i install it at my new house and use my current smart card? (my smart card is normal package non Beyond as well)

pls advice. thanks.

Yes but you have to pay their service. Maybe they will change you around RM100 for dish installation.

for old astro decoders, you can actually share single satellite dish by using splitter, but make sure it is rated at 2GHz for satellite use, also to avoid problem, it is advisable to only let one decoder powering the LNB
