i wish pirating can stop in malaysia. seriously dno when will malaysians be educated enough to respect copyrights.

Added on December 1, 2010, 9:11 pmi know it wont happen anytime soon tho, even with this enforced law.....in Switzerland (where i used to live), they dun have really strict rule about it but the community will look down at you and treat you as a thief if you pirate download stuff......so ppl dun do it because it doesnt feel right and will be guilty for doing so.

u mean rapidshare and hotfile these servers? its not illegal to download files from such hosting websites but its illegal for ppl to upload stuff not belonging to them to such public hosting sites. and you are responsible to delete items not belonging to you too

because its a sharing website. the uploader should not upload something doesnt belong to him in the 1st place, the downloader has every right download anything he wants. downloading is not wrong but keeping something doesnt belong to you is wrong....

the heck you are mumbling here is that malaysians are used to download free illegal versions and now when they knew its illegal, they resist to change because it had been their culture to pirate and couldnt accept the fact that you need to pay for a game. its our culture and something to be proud of? what a special budaya to be appreciate....maybe can put in tourismo malaysia brochures....
