why do i get better pings at EATW hinet than EASG?

cos theres something wrong with tmnut recently.

been getting pings of 300 to SG servers recently.

yea and ea japan also 500

Yea.. pings jumped up and down from around 150 - 400+. I hate it when gameplay suddenly went sluggish.

i usually play on the EASG servers, if not the EA Korea servers cause i seem to get better pings there than elsewhere

yea...gamearena rocks,especially the 64 player server with 32 player version maps.

hello there, i just bought a copy of BF2 from one of the forumers here im just wondering whether i should update my BF2 to v1.12 or should i stick to the original v1.0 since it works with myBF2 server (i got around 20-30 ping) anyway and i got around 40 players playing earlier this afternoon ^^. So the question is, is it necessary for me to update? If yes, why? Thank you in advance for your feedback! and 1 more question, which server do u guys normally play in?

Yup. Update to the latest ver available, so u'll be able to play in ranked servers, those always updates to the latest ver. IINM GameZone is also on 1.12(and the fact that no one plays there ) If u can get around 100+ pings, it's already good enough to play. Most guys here go to EA Jap/TW, GameArena, EAPlay or EASG (PAGN). Get Xfire and it'll be easier for u to join us.

If you want to play in ranked server i.e you want to unlock weapons, then you need to update the latest patch which is about 280mb...

When i first started playing bf2 i started on unranked server for 40hrs plus coz i dunno there is difference between this two...

if not i'd gotten higher rank by now...
