Last Friday received an email about the Sony Expo 2005 being held in KL Convention Centre, with free gifts to claim (for members like me). So decided to give it a go in the morning. Went with a friend and my usual partners - Camcorder and Digicam.

Here's some shots I like to share with you, especially those who couldn't make it. Hope you all enjoy the shots here!

Anyway, thanks for the "encouragement". I'm more like event coverage man, like to shoot the atmosphere and environment of the events. Haha, of course, if got chance, surely won't miss those babes.

Thanks for the advice on using flash. But it just doesn't suit me and my pictures I think.

Yeah, gotta agree that "No Babes No Atmosphere" philosophy! I also enjoy taking their pix, so no worry there. Later will post the babe shots.

Well, if you are talking about those Speedlight flash (external one), then maybe they can really makes the faces clearer and get a higher speed for shutter. But for my case, the built-in flash for IXUS 40 is quite... That's why I prefer to use higher ISO with steady hands for the shots. At least it looks more nice on the screen.

Hey man, with a good camera you are having now, you should try to explore the shooting possibility of your camera and yourself. Don't limit yourself to only shoot those "subjects" we all like. Cause you never know the one you gonna shoot later can actually be your best shot ever...!!

Haha, thanks for the supports. Yeah I didn't use Flash for all these shots. I prefer abit blurry but better exposured pictures. The time I visited there wasn't packed with many people, but during afternoon there was quite some number.

Well, though I'm not a SiFu, but I think I can answer you here. To me, it's best you go approach the models politely and ask for permission. Usually they will be glad to pose for you. (For those who refuse, nevermind, they don't deserve your time ) You can ask them to pose (not weird one lah) or stand in front of a banner/product for better composition. It's all depend on you. Just ask politely. And remember to show the pictures to them afterward (even if they don't ask). This is some sorta respect to me.

Heh, but sometime, I also took sneaky snapshots... more like candid shots.

Hahah, what a question! Yeah, I used to live in Kepong, just move away from there not long ago. How you know anyway??

Ohh... Hahaha, yeah, that KTM shot. I used to take KTM alot, even now also take it just to reach Mid Valley.

I'm now staying in Gombak, actually not far from where I used to live in Kepong. Kepong is not bad lah, I lived for more than 10 years, man. Even now, I still going back there to have breakfast and supper. The BKT there is yummy. And Kepong girls also all chun chun one.
