hi guys,

those who own x7, do you experience on hang and freezing and lagness randomly?
bought 1 x7 yesterday and what happened today is very annoying.
the phone hang and will not react to touch to release lock = cant switch off the phone.
no idea how to reset the phone, normally other phones just remove the battery and restart... this freaking device have built in battery which have no way to restart that way.
and when i tried and tried after hours, it suddenly restarted it self and back to operation, and still usual lag.

its running on symbian anna....

Happened to me sometimes but maybe I brought cheap silicon case and it a bit tight at the on off button that is why I hang sometimes.

Have u update your firmware yet? If it don't response press the power key. It will response after that. How to restart your phone if hang.

Hold the power button and menu button together for 8 seconds or more.

it happen to me also..not hang but it cant respond to my touch..everytime i need to wipe the screen to fix..maybe coz of the sceen to oily..but weird is my n8 oily but can respond to my touch.

might be ur fingers lack of static currect like ET...

was watching a video on my X7 and it hangs. Even touch the Menu button, there's no respond. Was trying to shut it off but not working also. Hold power button for 8,9,10,12 seconds also no use..

so i let it be to drain out the battery because the screen still showing the freeze video image. While waiting i also trying take out the memory card and sim card..nothing happened

i'm not sure porrn video has something to do with it

just sharing..will hard reset later

i think u might need to share the video...let me test...

To force restart you need press menu + power button together

I get: Internal error: Jsr plugin com.nokia.mj.impl.chapi.core.utils.ServiceProviderInstaller cancelled installation error everytime i try 2 install something with java. i tried seaching n they said maybe i have to hard reset my phone.

hello,would like to ask about video calling for this device.. does nokia x7 not support video call?how bout video sharing,i read some where than we can make live video share use this hp,please help me to configure this setting.i know it much easy to use internet application to share video,but my parents just buy 3g phone,and they try so many times to video call me,and they did not succeed.it really difficult to ask them to install internet application just to make video call to me,ang to put ice on the cake,they buy family sim pack for me.haish.help me guys.

shit even i use screen protector..after abt 3 months got dust particles under the screen...now have to send back
