I make the Galaxy Tab my primary phone on the first day of using it. Not sure how many of you who own one are using it as a phone. Everyone laugh tongue.gif when I said it is my primary phone. The SGT draw so much attention whenever incoming call, sweat.gif. Anyway it best phone I ever had... rclxm9.gif

Haha, my wife shown me same video sweat.gif ...

Yeah basically the looks of everyone is the same except I didn't shout since I'm using bluetooth headset. It quite funny to look at their expression. I remember there was 3 sales girls laugh so hard after I receive an SMS with quite a loud ringtone then took out the Tab to reply it rolleyes.gif !!!...

Anyway they were so curious, they kept looking and I show them my newest gadget brows.gif . BTW they weren't aunties tongue.gif.

I'm using this belt/waist pouch. Quite handy.
But can only use it when I'm using jean, for black slackers definitely no no...
Still finding a black type to use with slackers.

Im using it as my primary with bluetooth headset & sometimes with the ori headphones.. Need to get used to for the 1st few days..but now have no issues..pretty happy with it..

Fits most of my jeans and slacks, both front and back pocket..smile.gif

But it does feel a bit uncomfortable putting it in the pocket...hehe

I'm just wondering for those who had attached the Tab to leather case, can you still fit into your pocket?

Or you just leave your Tab naked so you can fit into pocket? brows.gif

@arbelnox,

I just let my SGT naked and put into my office trouser pocket, it's fit nicely. But I'm now try to getting a leather case for it and I don't think it will fit my pocket anymore....will report back after I test it.

SGT as my primary phone..

I plan to 'wear' my SGT with leather case as to make it like a diary for me. I will use the earpiece for phone call and attach it to the case after using it. No bluetooth headset as it drain the battery fast.

Wah... looking at the poll. Not many SGT users in Malaysia. Only 31 votes... I think SGT sells badly here. In Korea, 30K fly out in a week.
From the device angle, it is almost perfect media/internet companion. I uses less my laptop these days, even taking it into loo as well.

So... priced too high???
From googling, SK Telecom selling it at 2 year contract at 346,000 won (RM950) and US Sprint selling at USD 399.

yeah, the price is incredibly high indeed. We actually get no subsidy purchase from TelCo in Malaysia, unlike other countries. We always have to pay more than market price THEN bound by contract somemore!!
Malaysia BOLEH!!

whatever, my scenario is that Maxis centre said they will get stock by this week so dunno when they will actually have the stock lo...

Regarding the sales eh? seriously, common folks won't really gonna be interested on Tab since it is too big to be used as a phone (I mean those who only use phone for calling and sms only).
Other than that, I think in common Malaysian folks' perception, they still think "i"Gadgets is the best out there.

just my 2cents

well, I meant Maxis Centre in Miri, Sarawak. They say will only bring 5 or 6 units this week...
So I think KL there should have stocks already...

I actually really like this.
I'd rather have this over a smart phone.

Why would someone who wants a smart phone(Samsung Galaxy II, HTC;s ) over this? I'd feel more satisfied browsing and doing work on a 7inch screen rather than a inch.

I am using now my TAB together with a very small ancient Nokia phone. I have all my calls diverted to the Nokia. With this arrangement, I need not worry/or fumble how to take the call when I am on the move. Of course this arrangement you'd need another line. Anyway I always have 2 lines - a Celcom postpaid which is my main on the TAB and a Digi prepaid on the Nokia
For every call divert to the Nokia, I need to pay 10 sen per divert to Celcom

Hey, I could use the same arrangement too Benny.
I can use my old candy bar SE as your Nokia.

Why did you get a TAB instead of a normal smartphone?
I prefer a TAb cos it has a bigger screen=more satisfying and easier to read than a regular smart phone.

I bought tab cos i like big screens. That is reason why i switch from nexus 3.7 to sgs 4" , hd2 4.3" n dell streak 5". I am prepare to forego other issues as long as screen is big. The tab 7 inch is a dream size . Should have been release earlier n i could save some money buying others. Anyway i seldom use phone function usually few calls. I use email a lot n as both dell n tab is always with me i am always ontop of my biz.
