did you place those 2 R.bin and the RE.bin in the Flasher directory?

C:\Program Files\maemo\flasher-3.5

the 2 files that you downloaded for flashing...

where is the flasher located?where do u have it installed?

eg: if u installed it to C:\Program Files\maemo\Flasher-3.5,

open command prompt..type

cd C:\Program Files\Maemo\flasher-3.5

then turn off your phone (easy way - REMOVE BATTERY, REINSERTS)

DO NOT TURN ON YOUR PHONE!

SLIDE THE KEYBOARD OUT...HOLD U BUTTON..THEN ONLY YOU CONNECT YOUR USB CABLE TO THE PHONE...

after that, do the flasher command, flasher.exe -F R.bin -f

this is very easy friend..
*
I follow your command..same result..and this is not the first time i flash my phone..i know it's very easy..eventhou I m stil new..but at least I know how to read and follow instructions..now the point is i stuck at da second command where nth happen after I key in..I'm deeply sorry if this is a super silly questions or problems to u..as I'm stil new and learning..thx alot for your time.. smile.gif

Ah...Good old fdisk method...
Note the highlighted point. Some people tend to insert usb cable 1st then try only press "u" multiple times.

btw the reason I don't provide PR's in FP anymore is because distribution of firmware file outside Nokia site is prohibited.
You mean you just reflashed again & installed NITDroid then this reboot loop happen again?
*
yeah..i m very positive the i hold the "u" key..which stand for United kingdom before I start to plug in da usb cable.. tongue.gif

Assuming you're using Windows 7:

Connect your phone the way you do during firmware update

Go to Control Panel -> Devices & Printers

Is your N900 listed in update mode now?
*
YEah..stated as (Update Mode) there..

I finally success to reflash it..same thing happen to me..u using win7? i think maybe it's due to da rename prb..u rename it with "R.bin" and "RE.bin" respectively? i mean u type alone with the ".bin"?
