go to wireless & network setting, turn off Mobile Network (Connect to the Internet).
I just turn on to receive and send MMS. Internet better use WiFi. Froyo

sgpc, i hv dl the ninja fruit from applanet and playable. (never root my g5)

My G5 WiFi suddenly stop working!?  The WiFi is working fine as i am using this to post this mail on my notebook.  But my G5 can detect it but give me out of range respond when i tried to connect to WiFi each time.  It work fine yestersay, and i did not install anything new or change any setting, really weird. 

Anyone have the same problem or solution to this?

The ability to switch 3g on/off depens on the firmware you using. for froyo I5500LUYJP2 can, long press the on/off button. But 2.1 really depens on the firmware, local one can.

Your problem seem serious..........maybe you can test again on other wifi, if still not success, it might need send for warranty

Try the network in McD, work fine......so weird.

Then you lucky, most probably is setting problem

sometime just click 'forget' the network and rekey in the password again.

Hi all. Have an issue here. When I first got my phone and connected the USB to PC it work. PC detected and all was fine. Now when I connect it again, all I get is the beep from the phone and thats it.

Any idea whats wrong here?

Hmm...the problem go away when I reset my modem.  Not sure why this is the case as my 2 other notebook work fine.  

All is fine now, at least I know what to do when the problem appear again. 

I only manage to install the download version...........not a good apps, not stable, we wont use
