I already have US account at gorgonnash. The reason i play taiwan server now, is because of the latency, play with friends, as well as i want to save the cataclysm money. Most of the friends, reluctant to pay for the Us CDkey. wow taiwan is still cheaper than the US counterpart even with this promotion.

Okay okay, maybe I do this step by step, see if this works or not. Sorry for my noobness

1. I borrow WoW Vanilla installer CD from friend. Install game in my PC.

2. I borrow TBC installer CD from friend. Install expansion in my PC.

3. I borrow WOTLK installer CD from friend. Install expansion in my PC.

4. I buy Cataclysm from store. Install expansion in my PC.

5. Using Cataclysm CD Key, I activate game in Battle Net.

6. Play

Can or not?

1) WOW classic (Vanilla) Cd key (Level 1 - 60)
2) Burning Crusade Cd key (Level 61 - 70)
3) Wrath of the Lick King Cd key and (Level 71 - 80)
4) Cataclysm Cd key (81 - 85)

to play Cataclysm content.

If he just wanna play E.g. Burning Crusade, then just need 1) & 2)

This is applicable to all server, except Taiwan, as well as, im not so sure China

if kena tahan, you either appoint pos laju (now the charges is almost MYR50) or go yourself

if you want to nego/sure ur item wont tax and no chance they would confiscate etc (in ur case, basically fits this) then i highly recommend you go urself

you goto LCCT kargo area, air asia there, pos laju (follow sign boards, KLIA then when near KLIA will have LCCT sign boards, follow that then)

then pray hard you dont get custom newbies especially old auntie ones.

now i think new tax ruling, under rm500 you typically get 10% GST.

ps: i just went kastam last saturday to collect my ikaros and fellow forumer - exiledgundam
box super big, so kena, and both items are ~rm700 including shipping

4MB has nothing to do with latency. you can have 100000 mbit (bit, not byte, btw, so dont caps it) and if you only get over 1k ms latency, you still lag. best if you try out friend's account or whatever, and decide yourself

I haven't try it myself, but i believe u can choose between US or Europe version of WOW.

Most Malaysian play in US server or Oceanic server, Oceanic also serve as US

4mb should be good enough, my guess u will get around 300 ms, ms is the latency of your game.

Monthly payment? Yes, but u can opt to play every3 months. (USD15)

Deimos, if you want to save the trouble, see if there's DHL/Fedex delivery or not.
Normally those courier will tax you on the spot and instead of asking you to go Kastam office to retrieve your items, they send directly to your house.

But I don't know how much will the delivery charged la...

All my Fedex package was taxed automatically last time. Which means I will need to pay the courier when he deliver the stuffs to me.

That's why I choose to opt Fedex last time.

You can only play on US servers, Malaysia does not sell the EU client.

US and Oceanic are the same, just that the "time" in the server is different, all servers are located in the US for US versions.

4Mb is good, but better to test your latency before you buy. Borrow your friends account and play on your internet to see what kind of latency you get.

It's about USD15 if you pay by card, 14 if you pay 3 months straight, 13 if you pay 6 months straight.

This is an excellent MMO that could last you for years. You also get the contents for less than half the price of other players paid for too. You should try it. Who knows? You might even get sponsored for the monthly fees when you are good at your class. I've been there on Illidan server.

I got bored of the gameplay after 3 years but that is because I'm getting old and been on gaming for more than 20 years.

It is so easy to level these days. Lvl 1-20 is hardly a sweat but it used to take me 4 days. Now only 6 hours.

WoW base game can be bought purely digitally.

If you have WoW, you can upgrade digitally to TBC or Wrath straight on Blizzard Store's website. If you don't have WoW yet, your only option is physical copy sent to you. Shipping is about 20USD per item lol.

So get WoW first, register, THEN go back to Blizzard Store and purchase TBC and Wrath. That way you can get all 3 games digitally and don't have to wait for the box to ship from US.

It depends. You can check your Battle.net account for your order and shipping status. International orders maybe a week if nothing wrong, unless MY customs tahan for whatever reason.

I pre-ordered Cataclysm CE from Amazon, so dono when that reaching also. They say 8-14 Dec, so hope customs tak makan it or detain it for whatever la.

Well i think they'll send u the key and the disc , so that you can activate the key and start playing the game online. If you ask me just download it online , the whole - you explore area and it expands thing is pretty good and it works pretty well
