QUOTE(David_Brent @ Nov 25 2010, 02:04 PM) Wah!! If you have Maybank Shares which are deposited in your Direct CDS, please fill in the attached form and send toNow sure to fly to the moon!! Added on November 25, 2010, 2:06 pmAny Maybank holders? Just wondering what to do about this Dividend Re-investment thingie.... They are offering the shares at RM7.70 a piece.... Tricor Investor Services Sdn Bhd Level 17, The Gardens North Tower Mid Valley City, Lingkaran Syed Putra 59200 Kuala Lumpur Tel: 2264 3883 Deadline for submission : 08 December 2010 Remember to affix Revenue stamp of RM10.00 This email requires your reply on Maybank Dividend Reinvestment Plan. If you do not reply, you will be paid in cash instead. Malayan Banking Bhd has fixed the issue price of new Maybank shares to be issued under the dividend reinvestment plan at RM7.70 per share. The issue price was based on the fiveday volume weighted average market price (VWAMP) of RM8.99 per share up to and including Nov 3, being the last trading day prior to the price fixing date. It also said the share price was set after adjusting for a gross dividend adjustment of 44 sen to the five–day VWAMP and a discount of 85 sen, which is approximately 9.9% discount to the ex–dividend VWAMP of RM8.55. (Bursa Malaysia) Ex-date : 18 November 2010 Shareholders who have 1000 shares will be paid the followings 1) 4 sen in cash less tax of 25%, therefor net payment is 3 sen = RM30.00 2) Dividend Reinvestment (optional, shareholders who do not respond will be automatically paid in cash) 40 sen less tax of 25%, therefor, net payment of 30 sen = RM300 If you opt for dividend reinvestment, the calculation is RM300 / RM7.70 = 38 shares . .................................... Wonder how I am to deal with those untradable odd lots... This post has been edited by protonw: Nov 25 2010, 04:02 PM |

From MIB :-
Naim Holdings We are maintain our earnings forecast and fair value of RM5.09/share for Naim Holdings Bhd, pending further updates from management – with an upward bias. We continue to like Naim for exposure to a re-acceleration of infrastructure spending ahead of the Sarawak state elections (due by July 2011) – with added oil & gas kickers coming from Dayang. Naim reported 9MFY10 results which were above expectations. 3QFY10 earnings surged 52% YoY to RM37mil – bringing profits for 9MFY10 to RM75mil (+26% YoY). This constitutes 84%-87% of both consensus and our full-year estimates, respectively. MISC We re-affirm our BUY rating on MISC Bhd with an unchanged sum-of-parts derived fair value of RM11.80/share – following the release of its 2QFY11 results. MISC reported core net profit of RM369mil for 2QFY11, bringing its 1HFY11 core earnings to RM797mil. While it accounted for only 36% of our full-year estimate (and 46% of consensus), we would view the results to be within our expectation given a seasonally stronger 2H period. |

QUOTE(teehk_tee @ Nov 29 2010, 10:39 PM) uh guys, i need your input on this. Aiyoh, now you brought up, I think I have the same problem liao. just got the edividend thingy from Lonbisc. asked my dad to check for me earlier. i'm overseas at the moment. so the story is i hold 4000 shares of Lonbisc, i'm supposed to get RM60 (1.5sen T.E) the payment advice i received was not in my name. (same surname though) not to my bank. (they paid into Public Bank, while my nominated bank was Hong Leong, i don't even have Public Bank a/c) not my bank a/c number.. then .. it's not even the amount of shares that I hold. I bought 4000 shares, the letter i got was for 2000 shares (rm30 dividend) so, conclusion, I bought 4000 share, supposed to get RM60 to my HL account. end up in the letter, it's not my name, it's not my bank account, it's not even the correct amount of shares. just somehow the address was sent to my house. now i clearly remember when i signed up for edividend at Hong Leong i checked it and even had my photostated IC in there. so i just need u guys input. do I write to the registrar at Lonbisc to talk to them about this? or is it something to do with the CDS and/or HongLeong side? thanks for your help. first time experiencing this. At first i thought was the wrong people in my address as the shareholding and bank account were not mine and that person just happened to have the same surname as me... now what.... |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Nov 30 2010, 12:38 PM) Last month or so Symphony called me, and apologized on my Qcapital cheque. Buy POS shares, since there are lots of mistakes that needs to channel through post. The cheque mis-printed the last 2-digits of my I.C number, I didn't even realise that!! Few weeks later I receive my cheque with proper details. Symphony even called back to verify whether have I received my cheque. Well done |
