Yes you should factory reset BEFORE flash to to 8.0.1, if you reset after flash, i think you'll lost some apps and also LauncherPro given by Doc.

Just go flash 8.0.1 again

Reflash the base rom of 8.0.1 will do? do i need to factory reset/disable lagfix b4 reflash?

just tested the GPS with V9, rclxms.gif not bad! i realize that when i hold the phone horizontally ...the gps lost and hardly to reroute/relock the location, but once i put it back to vertically, it work like cham doh.gif
maybe the head of antenna needed to point to up for better signal sweat.gif

thanks to the sifu here...lock location by using google map 1st b4 use papago, really make papago very fast to lock thumbup.gif

* less offset and able to re route quickly

From http://hkdennis2k.homeip.net/2010/11/04/re...msung-galaxy-s/
i saw this
"Not using a journal is not a big deal, as long as you take care to do a full e2fsck pass when an unclear shutdown has occurred. This is the main reason for a journal – to prevent the need to do a full disk check, and instead the journal can be easily read, and the full disk check avoided."

does it mean if we apply ext4 with no journal, we need to perform e2fsck when unclear shutdown occurred?
by the way how to do e2fck with SGS? tongue.gif i dont know linux at all... biggrin.gif
