i am so noob, just only realize that speedmod is now k9A ....
i am on k9 without any lagfix or tweaks .... should i upgrade it to k9a? ... and how to upgrade, just the normal Odin pda flashing? or need to do like how u all posted about upgrading from k8? ...

lets say i upgraded to k9a, do i still need to do a factory wipe?

i would like to say, stop blaming the firmware ... i have been monitoring my battery usage and its been doing great so far and its not just me, some others trying out dxjpa have either no comment or some good comment on the battery life .. i would suggest that u check ur application and other stuff b4 jumping to conclusions.

i am on DXJPA + speedmod k9a 300hz without any lagfix/tweaks ... and gallery bus sensor has been on for the past 2 days ...
Phone been unplugged for 20hrs sharp (as of this posting time)... currently at 42% ...
used wifi for over 2hrs during lecture, Krazy kart racing for 10mins, LOADS of texting, average of 20mins phone calls, gallery bug for 19hrs 33mins, LBStestMode 8mins, few stages of angry birds + repeat of failures, plus some other stuff including my friends testing out my phone with his sgs ...
addon: brightness around 20%, data network off, 3g watchdog on, network set to GSM/WCDMA (auto mode) ...

i am surprised my phone didnt drop even 1% while i sleep over 8hrs ...
now 41%, 1day 6hrs 29mins 3s since unplugged!

i have got no idea myself too ... in processing of battery recalibration , now at the step of using every bit of battery till it shuts off, then charge for 8hrs+ ....

it does but not on the high side ... maybe u should take some time to recalibrate ur battery, i am in the middle of recalibrating my battery and results r better than before although last time in dxjg4 my battery can last max 3days without much usage ...

@omaryoma, since u just got the phone ... try factory resetting it, erase everything and test again with plug charger

hmm, maybe ur apps problem? .. which firmware r u on?

weird ... did u do a factory reset? wat i did after upgrading to froyo dxjpa was factory reset, then change csc (auto F.reset again) then install kernel + reset ...
everything smooth here without tweaks and lagfix ...

go into recover mode (vol up + home button + power button) ...

ULK for lagfix and root
another one is for tweaks (forgotten the name )

hehe .. i gonna slowly test out .. maybe next week i gonna enable tweaks and test for few days then following week lagfix ... thats if some rom doesnt temp me to change .. hahaha

i root for mybackup app ... not much apps require root anyway .. haha
unless u got root explorer and some tweaking root-required stuff ..

i do have that .. but its tolerable .. u cant get a perfect phone, mine is around 0.5 sec delay .. if its around 1sec or more then its something else ...

not everything ... if i am not wrong, internal and external files will be intact while ur system files and apps r gone ...

dxje? ... maybe try update to froyo 2.2 through kies? ...
might be charger since usb is working ok

maybe coz korean f/w is the original so have better internal tweaks than us ...

where u got ur phone? and y is it on dxje?! .... i think u should try upgrade it and see wats the latest firmware for it

did u factory reset ur phone after upgrading to froyo 2.2? ....
i did a fresh start on everything, format internal sd + wipe data & cache ...
applied speedmod k9a ... then everything was fine ...
