Im another unlucky one. Just purchased 1 year Hotfile premium account and now Streamyx capped my speed! Download speed since morning till midnight cannot go up to 50kb/sec.
Im not using Streamyx for Facebook or MSN. My main objective is DOWNLOAD DOWNLOAD AND DOWNLOAD!

PJ Tropicana , capped at <50kb/s.
Called up to TM complaint and make noise, technician feed back is they don't know what's happening.
Damn it.

CS: ok...what i can see your report here is the previous CS ask you to done the troubleshooting n everything and i can see that the PING you done (which is the packet sent n lost) has no problem. (BULLSHIT THING AGAIN)
Me: Of course there is NO PROBLEM!, asking me to ping the local website. Pinging to International website is damn slow. I have done pinging to Cyberjaya, Penang server, same thing! SLOW! Only KL server is normal.
CS: remain silent...
Me: I'm sure TM is capping my bandwidth
CS: yea i know about the capping ( U SEE U SEE THIS TIME HE KNOW ALREADY)
Me: i'm sure u have been receiving lots of call regarding this right
CS: yeahhhhh (sign...can heard that, HAHAHHAHAHA)

at the end he said he will pass to technician bla bla bla, in my mind and his mind sure we both know thsi is useless...

I just answer okok bye.

Max I give 1 week, will guarantee make report to SKMM, write email to all major newspaper. I dont' care if they give me respond or not BUT if all of us do the same thing, they will sure know this is a serious issue (why there is so much complaint about the internet speed), ya write to "ROCKET" also tongue.gif

Just now level 2 CS called me, ask me whether the issue solved as they help me changed port. I answer them issue remain , and is TMnut cap the speed, the CS reply that TM won't do such thing to users.

TM just called me....I told them the situation....the staff answered me that, they will monitor the bandwitdh of of the user, if download non stop, they will use the fair user policy to limited of the download speed.
in other words, we cannot escape as we signed the contract / agreement, as long as they catch you using high bandwitdh , they will cap you.

I already tried ask them give me back my normal speed. They said this is under FUP, and when we sign agreement it stated that, cannot refuse.

damn.....I dont mind giving expensive for the idiot 1Mbz as long as its unlimited and no cap. But dont do some ninja job and keep telling us they didn't cap the users. full of bullshxt!
