I think there is another cap technique by TM.. i already complaint for 3months already.

Morning = no cap
8.30pm until 2am = cap

my 1mb morning max 900kbps.
7.30pm = 900kbps
8.30pm = 384kbps
2.30am = 900kbps

This was done with direct connection with modem.

They also say send techinician, but technician come at afternoon the line got no problem coz no cap at the moment. I told them come back at night and check, they say their working time is until 6pm.

Lame excuse, cannot OT and claim company.. yeah rite..

thats why from 8.30pm i give up using the internet. I also work from 9 to 6. i come home the net slow like kura kura damn frustrated. My report already 3months d. But still the same thing.

If you all having the slow speed, i encourage all of us here do a test.

This test requires 1 direct modem and print screen. Please use TM speedometer. (because they deny speedtest.net)

Morning b4 go work, do a speed test and print screen.
At 8.30pm or 9.30pm do a speed test and print screen.
If you havent sleep @ 2.00am, do a speed test again.

Do this for a week.

But honestly, 8 out of 10 those tech support CS fellas wont know wat is speedtest. But if your line really has a problem the speedo is enough to show.

I even F@rked the CS that told me their technician only can come during afternoon, i said to them, u tell the techs, i will pay their O.T as well.. The CS say they cant say all this etc etc..

Is not they are noob, they are outsourced.. The CS and Technicians are outsourced. They do not train by TM. thats why all the noobest came from.

I saw b4 a technician coming to my house to check the port wearing a t-shirt from one computer shop i forgotten.

I even spoke to their manager of the CS. He also give me the same lame excuses, they will escalate this problem to tech departmnent. Now everyday those CS will call me...

Cs : "sir how was your connection"

Me: Same (after 1 month of everyday calling me)

Cs: ok sir i will update report and ask the technician to check on your report

Me: ok

Hang up. Next call repeat the same process.. Its 3rd month d.

The rebate even worst, "Rebates will only be given if its TM's FAULT and rebate given only after they fix the problem, so at the mean time you pay your bills 1st".

mine was 1.5mb as well, then the line went off after repair. They set properly back to 1mb.

u cannot condemn them openly, they file the lawsuit up your arse..
Even if The Star agrees to do it, they will also end the article with very "wide",

I mean i really not saying tmnet is right or good, its corporate world and capitalism suxs..

They counter using the below ways,

Torrent = its illegal to download files tat are protected.

Cap = its a way of shaping traffic, if not traffic overwhelm, server crash.

Worst case, use the ultima = ohh we doing maintainence.

Super ultima lame excuse = We change cable d.. but still the same. this issue very serious, we will check and call you back...

803ms quite high ping, might have some time out during the hops to the test..

Really hard to see whether is cap or real server problem. Each ISP's hop can be different. TM might have lesser hops to USA but time have more.. hence its slower..

Basically, so many problems... they should had just re-structure the whole system and adapt the new ISP practice of giving limited package.

1mbps limit to 10gb per month, if wan more you have to purchase more.

Reduce the price and earn more from those torrent-hoggers and media sharing fellas..

its the same concept.. if u have traffic jams either u built better roads or u reduce the cars by increasing the tax of cars, petrol etc etc..

Roads = ISP infrastructure = its very expensive and time consuming.

Reduce the cars = set quota cap reduce traffic hence your small road looks smoother = easy to be done, less cost involve and can be done real immediate.

ya... its hogging.. ppl say i paid d.. its unlimited i on download 24/7.. if can reduce these ppl hogging, others still can enjoy..

the infrastructure is fixed and its a fact its not enough to accomodate the crowd.. but its corporate profit we talking about not charity.. ofcourse they will try to increase profit minimize expenses..
