QUOTE(Tentris @ Nov 30 2010, 12:06 PM) Alright, standby, a more detailed response coming from TM later today. So we can't do anything? Just sit back and let them capped us and stop downloading? They are fully aware of the issue. In the meantime, try reading this: http://www.streamyx.com/customer_care/cust...ir_usage_policy What we're seeing here could be a manifestation of the policy in practice. |

Are they capping us by our monthly usage? If it is, will we get back our bandwidth tomorrow? Because tomorrow is 1st December.

There should be another ISP company provide land line service just like Streamyx. We can't let Streamyx monopoly the whole land line market. Just like DiGi, Maxis and Celcom, they compete each other and provide us the great service and savings.

QUOTE(FallenOut @ Nov 30 2010, 10:01 PM) still they isnt any When there's competition, they'll improve to get more customer. Just hope that someone open a new ISP just like Streamyx, offer unlimited usage WHICH IS REALLY UNLIMITED, or charge us in a fair price if we exceed the usage. That's what we want. Not secretly capping our bandwidth and forcing people to subscribe the new package to gain more profit.they know if there is another one tat can compete wit screamyx its the end of telekom |

QUOTE(Chromax8 @ Nov 30 2010, 10:12 PM) If TELEKOM MALAYSIA has it's turf opened up to competition, it spells the end not only for TM but also the government as they would have a hard time trying to control the freedom of information in this country where things would no longer be within their control. Why do you think they were so bold when they say that they can control illegal downloading of movies and music in the first place? That's because TM is theirs and do you think if there were other player in the field, do you think it would that easy?.. They rely on monopoly of specific industry to fuel their political gains and power. That's MALAYSIA!.... It's not a communist country, nor is it a democratic country... it's a semi dictatorship country! (You're not far behind IRAN and North Korea!) ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH YOU BRO. |

QUOTE(automan5891 @ Nov 30 2010, 10:43 PM) Ok, I'm gonna suggest a new approach. We abandon TM for Jaring. Yes Jaring may not support your area but if you e-mail them your interest to subscribe and with many of us I'm sure they will look into providing service for your area. Jaring got "FAIR USAGE POLICY"?http://www.jaring.my/service/broadband/ind...ont=flite_wired Register your interest http://www.jaring.my/service/broadband/ind...gister_interest |
