Hi guys, I am new here, and new to Vindictus as well. Currently playing on east server.

Took me a whole day to download the game, and another whole running the patchings. Yes, it took long.

I triend free VPN softwares like Cyber Ghost and Hotspot Shield but they don't work. Finally I used AOL desktop and it worked. Heres how:

1. Download AOL Desktop from AOL website. Don't register any account yet.

2. After you got it up and running register your account with the program.

3. Click [Connect Options], then [Advance Broadband Settings],it will bring you to the 'Broadband' tab of advance settings, do these here:

a. Open the drop down box of "You are currently editing settings for:" and select "Add broadband profile". Say we name it '"Vindictus"' here.

b. in the 'Connection Type' Drop down box select Home Network and then save it.

c. This is funny, you always have to connect with the the default "Broadband" in the connection type, then "Sign Off" and only then you can connect with the connection profile we just made that is '"Vindictus"'.

4. Wait, this is not over yet. You have to login to http://vindictus.nexon.net/ using AOL first. Its a must. Only then you should start your game and login to the game itself.

5. Theres some downsite. I played in some party with those americans and they are complaining about bad lag. I never play in a party since, fearing they might report me. And since AOL gives you a different Ip each time you login, you will be delayed access to mailbox and depot when you start your game.


WELL BEFORE YOU GOOOO, pm me your IGN. I would like to play with some fellow malaysians since partying with those americans is kinda risky. I haven't party with malaysians though, so I am not sure if it will be too laggy.


p/s:
In my soloing experience, you will still enjoy the game, in the beginning, but as you go higher, there are boss or bosses appearing in the game together and that is hard and time consuming to solo. And those raid games, it will be more fun to play with friends. So PM me ya.
