Well, it depends on what you want your guitar to sound like. If you're the Metallica fan, then the MG50DFX is not the amp for you.

I got the amp for Rm1380 for normal rock, a little bluez and jazz. For me, MG50's gain is enough for me .... i don't quite like very depth, low sounding, heavy mama gains. Coz i'm playing in a church so ... later all the old folks go . Its clean channel is superb ... super clear sounding.

To make things simple, the MG50DFX is an all rounder amp if you allow me to say. It can play most themes .... but not like 100% perfect amp for rock, or bluez or jazz.

I think you're better off getting the AD50VT coz its a vintage amp. Its something like the Mg50DFX but cheapaer. I haven't tried AD50VT yet so i can't give you any comment .... but i know its cheaper then the MG50DFX and both amps are quite same.

So start saving then.

You can get a good SX electric guitar around Rm850 or so ... or less.

Be careful about that sale ..... that's kinda "cheap" for a Les Paul Custom IMHO.

Just ask if the shop can give you a discount, but don't expect them to say "Its 50% off" but expect rather like 5% off (if you're even luckly to get one!)

Shops don't really make that much money from selling music gears. They still make some profit .... well just enough I guess. Any profit they make will be used to bring in other instruments to the shop.

That package is missing something important that links your guitar and your amp to output a sound.

And they can't throw in a guitar cable for you ?

Even if you're buying Santana's guitar and Eric Clapton's amps, without a cable you're not going to produce any sound.

what's the whole point getting a starter's package without the cable ? Its like buying a brand new car without the car keys itself.

How would you know there's a cable included in the package when he didn't stated it on his post in the first place ?

I notice some shops don't get thier stuff from Bentley already. Like Harmony Music for example, the uncle said he'll order directly from Singapore if you want to order a Fender, Zildjian cymbals and the not.

I didn't asked why he's buying directly from Singapore, but yea he;s not getting from Bentley.
