Guys!! Where can I find Peavey dealers in KL? or any shops that sells lots of Peavey amps. tq.

I will get my first Electric Guitar(from parents) next month.
Then maybe:
Option 1:
january/february buy a 1x12/2x12/4x12(depends on budget) speaker cabinet connect to my Roland MicroCube for live gigs. Then maybe end of year buy a amp head.

Option 2: January/february buy a 75w combo amp. most probably peavey/Line 6

What do you guys think about that?

Stick with Elixir, Dunlop, Ernie ball or D'addario

I searched forums and found out that the 1st string of the elixir breaks easily.. but no prob for me till now.

LoL.. I kinda hate elixir's sound for acoustics..

Added on November 29, 2010, 5:42 pmyo sifus, my friend passed me his Yamaha erg121c for maintainence(string change, polish, etc) and I find the tuning of this guitar is VERY BAD. every time I hit the trem, the guitar goes out of tune. are there any methods (bsides changing the stock tuners) to fix it?

Ahh, Jet City is tempting, no? Class A amps for low low prices, with boutique wiring systems. Unfortunately, no. Jet City isn't available here at the moment. Call Thomann though, they do world-wide shipping I believe.

Should I get compact pedals or multi-effects pedal?

I just want a Distorted pedal, a Wah pedal and a Overdrive pedal. total cost around RM900? BOSS ME-70 has almost everything and cost about RM1200? But I heard bad things about it produces a "digital" sound.

Really? I thought it has most of the BOSS famous Distortion pedal? I'm actually eyeing on the BOSS Heavy Distortion. What pedals do you recommend? for entry level?
