If I straight A I'll get a Jackson DK2M. Somehow my mum predicted that I won't and bought me the Charvel BEFORE knowing my results. Power la my mum. Anyway, what in your opinion is the best pedalboard setup below RM1k? For starters.

delay can wait. i'm looking at distorion, overdrive and a tuner first. This is my plan.

Guitar --> Behringer TU300 --> EHX MEtal Muff with Top boost --> Digitech Bad Monkey/EJX Little Big Muff --> amp. what do you think?

Actually yes, amps are extremely bloody important. Honestly, once you have a really good amp, you don't have to worry about that many pedals. More on Modulation, delay and maybe one or two boosters or EQs.

Think Mesa or ENGL. biggrin.gif

But yes, pedals are good smile.gif

MXR GT-OD anyone? Doubleshot Distortion? I think twin distortion/overdrives or distortion/boosters, will do you better. More value for money too.

Added on December 27, 2010, 11:53 pmOr what the crap, go for the Damage Control Class A Womanizer or Jamtank now with double tubes and a Nuclear button. RM650. Awesomeness in a box.

Looking for cheaper one first lah isaac. don't forget pedal case and power supply. tongue.gif

I don't have old suitcase.. LoL. thinking of a shoebox. the cover can be the base. But still. investing RM750 on a pedal as a starter is too much of a risk. start slowly.

I don't need a new amp. reason is that I can bring my pedalboard anywhere and simply plug them in to the amp in the jamming studio or during live gigs. I watched a video lately on the Metal Muff and it made the Fender amp which has NO distortion at all sounds like a full gain mesa! power.

So, does this mean almost ANY tube amp can have massive distortion? Hmm.. Maybe overdrive pedal can wait. Any tube amps you recommend? Maybe below 1k? And also, can u power 5w tube amp into a 4x12 cab?
