first time i'm a little ahead of wang LOL

got the game yesterday, played about 4-5hrs and now at Map area 4. starting to use a lot of lives to get past stages ... (but still glad to have the challenge of doing so)

quick review:-

The Good
- challenging and 99.99% fair level design
- decent graphics engine with good effects. used to good effect in level design too ... backgrounds/surroundings are part of the gameplay sometimes
- some great new gameplay elements eg. rocket barrel

The not-so-great
- jumps are a little "stiffer" than previous SNES game series as i can remember (the bounce off from enemies seems a little different too). with Diddy Kong on DK's back the difference is even more pronounced. may need time to get used to it
- minimal sound effects while in stages but i guess that was to make it "mysterious" bfor the action heats up ?

not need to play so fast, enjoying...I collected all the KONG and Puzzle Coin b4 proceeding to another map... biggrin.gif

i didnt feel anything jumping stiffer, u can bounce higher on the enemy by pressing up direction(same like mario game)...some items need to use this method in order to get it... tongue.gif

Are there any problems playing this (as in the original game of course) on modded consoles?
