QUOTE(faidz85 @ Jan 25 2011, 05:48 PM) FYI i just call panasonic directly..and they insist no warranty.. but for my pana leica lens they say it is a special case so under warranty.. but even though they claim my pana leica is under warranty they don 't do any reparing nor they have the technology and resource to do it locally. So have to go back to Panasonic Japan. and as you can guess charges may apply. At first they even say my pana leica lens is not cover under warranty till i say i wanna sue them in consumer tribunal court.. then they change their wording and style.. |

I just Googled ... found this http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=1089...024&topic=13680 Someone said can register lens in the e-Warranty site (Must use IE): http://crm.pm.panasonic.com.my/eWarranty/ hellfire8888, maybe you can try that ? eWarranty Registration **For air-cond & non air-cond product only. e.g.Plasma TV All Risk Warranty Registration **For IP-PABX key phone only. QUOTE(Wuahaha @ Jan 26 2011, 12:43 PM) Possible, if they are to send the lens to Japan to repair, just like those PC motherboards are sent back to Taiwan to repair. But may take weeks to months for repair. i already know the answer because i have the email .. Even if they were to send to Bintang Maju to repair, certified or not they still will get it fixed right? LOL Why not you send an email to Panasonic Japan to ask about this, I remember somebody did this before and got their warranty honored. |

repair lens need facility...and whether they have the full facility to do a proper repair is very very different from opening up the lens to clean fungus on the lens..

yeah gogo is rite..
when IS is turn on there will be moving internal parts in your camera that moves,,,and you would not want it to move when u are on a tripod.. if you got mirror lockup function turn it on to further reduce any vibration from your camera...(if u use oly slr) long shutter speed at night,,just go with the lowest iso...and yeah turn on noise reduction too...noise reduction is different from noise filter (applicable for olympus camera only) This post has been edited by hellfire8888: Jan 27 2011, 02:30 PM |
