QUOTE(ben3003 @ Feb 3 2011, 12:33 AM) Oh... like tat maybe I have to look into dslr.. but the size factor I'd somehow a concern for me too... any low light sample u guys can share? at f1.4 inside building take pic without flash also ok la.. with fast aperture u dont even need iso1600Off topic abit, how about next series? I saw tat they have larger sensor. Do they perform as well as their dslr counterpart ? ![]() u sure ask if i dont have f1.4 how? here is an example using iso3200 at f3.5.. go ask your friend who use slr with bigger sensor and see this photo is acceptable or not at iso3200 and this foto is not taken under studio lighting at day time..it is taken at a restaurant at night with crappy lighting..the restaurant at kota damansara wanna view unedited ori file goto my flickr.. ![]() so in other word photography is not about noise noise and noise.. |

QUOTE(nutrinos @ Feb 7 2011, 10:53 PM) Got quote from this link about Gradation; gradation auto will make noise very very high if you are shooting at high iso....only use gradation auto when using iso 100 to 400 and if use above iso 400 better set it back to normal..The gradation feature takes advantage of Olympus' Shadow Adjustment Technology. The normal option is your standard automatic contrast feature. Auto gradation breaks the image down into smaller segments, and adjusts the contrast for each of those areas, which should result in better detail in shadow and highlight areas. The high key option emphasizes the highlights (big time, in the example below), while low key does just the opposite. Here you can see all four of the gradation options in action: Link is here; http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/olympus/...view/using#grad It seems like by using Auto Gradation, Highlight clipping can be controlled...Hmmm |

Haha you are right..Olympus E-P2 if wanna use tele lens better use the electronic viewfinder for "stability"
I use tele lens on my EP-2 for:- 1. Lion Dance - In-door Mid Valley no flash used ![]() This one is E-P2 + MMF1 Adapter + ZD 50-200 f2.8-3.5 + VF 2. Random Girl in Bon Odori - pic taken around late afternoon..near 6pm no flash used This one is E-P2 + MMF1 Adapter + ZD 50-200 f2.8-3.5 + VF 3. Model in Fashion Show at 1U indoor no flash used ![]() This one is E-P1 + MMF1 Adapter + ZD 70-300 f4.5-5.6 + VF 4. Beyond Concert no flash used and stand damn far away with ppl pushing here n there.. ![]() ![]() This one is E-P1 + MMF1 Adapter + ZD 70-300 f4.5-5.6 + VF 5. NTV Concert and observe first pic how far i am...no flash ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This one is E-P1 + MMF1 Adapter + ZD 70-300 f4.5-5.6 + VF 6. Birding ![]() This one is E-P1 + MMF1 Adapter + ZD 70-300 f4.5-5.6 + VF All pic above is handheld..no tripod... So i think tele lens is definitely a fun lens and i doubt 20mm can do all that..every lens have it purpose .. Added on March 11, 2011, 2:39 pmand when guard see ep1 or ep2 they dont care one...cause look like point n shoot...the tele lens i just put in my pocket..hahahah This post has been edited by hellfire8888: Mar 11 2011, 02:39 PM |
