I went for Ranjit in SS15 for the past 1 year... the pink pills given is Isotretinoin also known as Roaccutane... it cost me RM200 per box from Ranjit... including his self made anti bacteria cream... for my case he ask me to take one pill everyday for the 1st box... 2nd box alternate days then 3rd twice a week.. then 4th once a week and so on for 6 boxes... and he said the cream has to be applied for your entire lifetime... hence u'll become a loyal customer... recommended to a friend as well... his condition got better... so was mine... but after i stopped the pills and just applying the cream only, the acne starting to come back... when on the pill max 1 pimple per week only... now everyday 1... guess everyone case is different... btw he doesnt treat ur scar until u acne problem goes off... so dont expect instant makeover or something...

QUOTE(night @ Nov 24 2010, 09:35 AM) Same here. I once totally stopped taking those pills and my acne come in one shot. I spoke to the nurse and she told me that there's a method to stop taking those pills and your acne will not come back. First of all, reduce your body dependency on pills to control your acne output. Start by taking twice a week for about a month or so. After that, only take once a week for the next coming month. Once you don't see any acne popping out, reduce your intake to about once in every two week and so forth. The trick here is to tell your body to reduce its dependency on these pills and you should be doing fine after that. These pills don't come cheap. I think it cost about RM5 for one pill. ya i tried that... i took it once a week for bout 20 weeks... but when the pills is finish, the effect is temporary as well... bout 2-3 weeks was fine then now its bad... but then i didnt apply the cream anymore... cause it causes my skin to become red... it cost bout RM6.67/pill...

QUOTE(winter-X @ Nov 25 2010, 12:05 PM) the cream is a moisturiser?or acne cream?
u eat the pill for how long already?why the acne will come back once u stop?how if before eating the pill i have less acne, will i getting more acne if i stop eat?(actually doctor give me the pill just to reduce my oil)...
The cream is acne cream.. i took the pills for 2 years d i think... couldnt really remember... but i finish the whole course... i dun think you stop time will suddenly get acne since u have no acne problem before eating... my acne came back i think mostly is because im working night shift now... liver not so productive since i do not sleep at night... but i suggest u not to take the pill so often as it is proven by articles and my experience that Roaccutane can cause skin to be thinner... read wikipedia and other articles linked to it... my experience is when i went for paint ball... when i got hit, my skin got penetrated easily and leave a permanent scar on my hand... even the owner of the paint ball place said he never see such injuries before since paint ball wouldnt penetrate so much... so its down to my skin... i used to be an active kids who fell alot and stuff when i was young.. i can say that time my skin is not thin.. hehe...

QUOTE(night @ Nov 27 2010, 10:44 AM) Taking thisl pills will cause your skin to be thinner. Doctor did warned me before that. When you first take these pills, the skin on your face will become dry. Once they get dry, those skin will slowly fall off. The reason behind this was to shed old and damage skin to allow new skin to grow. Somehow, taking these pills too frequent will cause too much skin to fall off. ya.. my doctor didnt warn me... i learned it the hard way... anything to make skin thicker??! but not thick face??! haha..
