The interest in the sport is wanning not because of the lack of facilities or funding, it's the dirty politics. You don't get a whole lot of football pitches in Brazil and yet they churn out the world's best players.

Yay we beat Syria but we honestly need to start playing against opponents ranked higher than us on a consistent basis. You can only get better by playing those better than you are.

Mohd Zaquan (Negeri Sembilan and Malaysia) rclxm9.gif

The 22 year-old is starting to make news in south-east Asia and impressed Chelsea when he lined up against the English giants. There have been rumours of moves to Europe though, not yet to one of the major leagues. Small in stature but with an eye for goal, Zaquan, along with his brother, is one of those players who means that Malaysia’s future looks a little brighter.

Don't wanna pour cold water on you, but the writer seems to use Zaquan to fill up space. Other players have a credible reason for being there, like scoring alot of goals in their local league, while Zaquan was only there because he did good against MU in one match. He didn't even bother to put a picture of him.
