Before the SEA Games started there were a 4-team tournament (Laos, Thailand, Malaysia & Vietnam). It was a league format. We topped the league together with Laos but they had better goal difference so they won. We drew 2-2 with Thailand, but basically we were superior, only to concede a very soft equalizer in the end. Can't remember the scorelines against Vietnam & Laos. But our team were full of potentials & promises. Let's hope they fulfill the potentials.
 P/S: Oh, Laos is pretty good I suppose. They might look like the whipping boys but in reality they are good. |

I think the SEA Games has limited the football players age to be below 23. Much like Olympics where they field under 23's but allow maximum 3 over aged players.
