There is a lack of tutorial in game .. you have to go to Lodestone http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/pl/index.html for more information

now only you know haha~~ i was in the same shoe as you were right now...the game is quite unforgiving for new players.
probably have to wait few more major patches to fix all the problems.

Yes, in full screen you cannot Alt+Tab. You run it in windowed mode .. but you will see the borders. Some GPU run games better in 1920x1080 than a smaller size resolution. What I did is using Borderless Windows Script. http://www.ffxivcore.com/topic/10729-borde...-window-script/

pick any race to your liking since you can adjust the stats in game anytime, you can change to any class ingame so it doesnt matter what you choose at the start.

There's a cooldown time before you can reassign them. So allocate them wisely XD

STR/VIT/DEX, take your pick. Its all about balance and soft cap to your job rank. It's about the same to all melee class sweat.gif

PS2 controller works on ffxiv on win7 ultimate 64bits?

If not mistaken, shoji is using 360 controller. So, why go for 360 if PS2's is cheaper? Due to function? Better looking? Better Response?

Because I have it lol brows.gif

But, lately I've been using keyboard instead of 360 controller. Easier imo. hmm.gif

Wanna go into gripping mode rclxms.gif

Added on January 31, 2011, 6:47 pmSo, beside the gripping feeling, what's the difference in function between 360 and ps2 or ps3 controller?
