Proton cars always the easiet to mod, that's the reason why a lot of kiasulang want to drive a Lancer but have no money....
Bought the 2.0P and put rm10-20k to modify it to look like a Lancer GT.... Pathetic......
*
er, mod as in performance la,

the change to lancer gt type is....not my cup of tea , so direct change to evo x if its me, ^^ that would be better.

well, forte really come with alot of interesting package, 6 airbags, 6speed, rear cam and etcetc.......

for inspira, there are ppl modding already..... he changed HU and added rear cam. so its almost the same like forte's pacakge. except the airbags.

if forte come with cgi, its really worth, but from wat i read, its not rite? correct me if im wrong.

the only thing that make chose inspira over forte is the multilink suspension. torsion beam will always be torsion beam. wat i seek in a car is handling and power. since in the range of 100k, i found inspira suit it very well.

and spare parts as well, bcuz lancer was in the market even before forte, so the price and availability of spare part is a step ahead....
even if inspira have problems, but i can juz go to any halfcut shop and fit in original lancer/evo parts.

just my 2 cents as sum1 who seek diff thing in a car (previous neo owner XD) adios~

thanks, this statement is so helpful.

let me go try the inspira first, maybe will love it immediately ,lol.

always looking for minor mod to my car, to change the feeling of it, and inspira does offer me a wider choice over forte, but i'm not sure.

refer to previous post,i have to say, cosmetic mod is not my cup of tea, nothing pathetic about cosmetic upgrade biggrin.gif

inspira.....forte.......inspira......forte.......hem......

6 speed gearbox forte = maintenance free

CVT inspira = need maintenance and might mixed up AFT with CVT oil

^^You still need to change the ATF... And do flushing after few changes....
*
u mean CVT or 6 speed forte?

http://www.motorauthority.com/blog/1031400...speed-automatic

Additionally, the new 6-speed from Hyundai is maintenance-free - the gearbox is not equipped with a dipstick as it is filled with an automatic transmission fluid that is good for the life of the vehicle.

well, this means maintenance free gearbox still allows you to change fluid?

just to share,

bcos i have some bad experience, my foreman changed(not flushed) my myvi ATF and use Proton ATF. and he told me this is proton , its correct....i was like wtf.. and its more expensive than the ori perodua oil. lucky my gearbox still working.

i think ( just my personal opinion). most gearbox damage is due to those foreman mistaken the ATF. you see, there are so many kinds of ATF out there, some use toyota for kenari, some use proton for myvi. dont think they manage to stock all kinds of oil needed.

so, you guys wanna keep an eye on your foreman when they change it, if possible, bring your own atf oil.

You really don't know what you talking yo  sweat.gif
Proton have added so many extra features to 2.0 Inspira compare to other variants.
1.8 Inspira already nice but Proton want to make sure 2.0 variants is worth every penny that customer spend.
That's why this variant is the top selling Inspira atm
Well if you don't have prove, better don't make assumption. Maybe that driver is just too panic and just got his/her license.
If the victim really face the prob because of car, this news most likely will become top news. You know, we got so many Proton basher in this country.

Don't bashing Inspira blindly just because you wanna make yourself feel better by bought Forte.
That really childish.

seriously inspira is good, the only reason for ppl to choose forte over inspira i guess is due to the 6 airbags only, otherwise i dont see the reason

Two of the poor thing inside the inspira is the Clarion headunit and that piece of black/greyish plastic on the steering wheel airbag cover.
*
If anyone can remove the "piece of black/greyish plastic on the steering wheel airbag cover." i'll pay him to do it, and i'll buy inspira biggrin.gif the steering is so good looking, spoilt by the black/grey plastic, lol
