whatapps in android also to be known for draining the battery, but it can be closed/disabled compare to symbian version, symbian version will still run in background and keep connecting to 3G/wifi even after it is closed.

Not sure about that , never used Android and BB or iP before. N8 is my one and the first smartphone i have ever owned

P/s : Still waiting for Radiance's reply on what are they gonna do on my damaged n8 .

just to share my exp :

my phone once keep booting when using apps , then it dead . but mine happen on the day i bought .

Lol , i don care , they damaged my phone wor. Brand new so cantik one. Let them service awhile then habis.

And im still wondering , why they changed my HDMI cover? Somemore bagi i caught them red handed.

As the more I think and the more I cross check with the service manual I really worry the change of the MoBo for the N8 are really easily been mess up by those un-train or un-skillful NCC technicians...

Sometimes user provide insufficient info might lead to confusion my experience.
Have you by any chance turn on geo tagging? Could be ovi maps load by itself? Maybe use the old version of garmin that cause battery drain

How to off geo tagging?

turn on camera > option > setting > Save location info > No

whatsapp kinda annoying on n8.. it continuously try to connect to my wifi even i turn off wifi.. uninstalled

not so sure...

Can use KillMe to kill it?

You wan to confirm whether the phone got problem or maybe u might accidentally turn on something you shouldnt try hard reset and use few days without installing. If no problem you have the answer. If got problem send for warranty

Hahahaha! Looks like i recalled myself turning on geo tagging and maybe thats the one causing it to auto on the GPS.

Will report if theres anymore GPS available thing.
