As the more I think and the more I cross check with the service manual I really worry the change of the MoBo for the N8 are really easily been mess up by those un-train or un-skillful NCC technicians...

this one existed since last time, it's correct that nokia have to provide 1 to 1 exchange for this case, cos who can guarantee that the mobo wont be defective after fix? if warranty over but the defective mobo still giving problem then even worse

my N8 is another story... the purpose for this move to have Nokia Team aware and consider to do amendment on Local Malaysia Warranty Policy... it will be benefit for all future users...

now all back to the Nokia team wether they LISTEN to the customers or IGNORE them as these amendment of policy will involve a whole lots more then just N8 devices... 

It's odd that in Europe and USA, there's a 14 days return policy while here it's not existent. I think we need to pressure our Government more on consumer rights to make it a legislative right then all the businesses will follow. It's totally crap to pay money for a non working product and end of the day, we are being given the run around.

You are lucky as you had 'connections' but what about the other poor unsuspecting users out there? Really, if Nokia does not buck up, I will be tempted to move away to another brand when I go shopping for a phone for my wife.

I've decided to stop relying on nokia battery monitor. lol. when u restart the phone in any way, the statistics will go wrong, or erase itself. i'd say the estimates of the battery are accurate.. so that will be the only purpose i will use it now..

The battery monitor is just like the estimated time of arribal in your Garmin or Ovimaps lor...Depending on how fast you go, traffic & etc...so keeps on changing... ..That day fully charged, shows me ~ 1few hrs of remaining, nxt day became 2 days remaining..cool...and yeap by the time I recharged, on Wednesday Evening I hv used N8 for ~72 hrs...cool... 3days not bad-lah even 3 hrs of music players.. . Since the last recharged, on Wed Evening..now still remaining 1 Day 3 hr...not so cool compare wth 1st time using the monitor liao..

itu hanya for show only ler.... if really they wanna include a SUPER ACCURATE battery monitor just simply make a Capasity Battery Gauge like what all those laptop have will do ler.... 

it depends on your usage too its an estimation if you have the  same constant usage its accurate but if your usage keep changing the estimation wont be so accurate.

I think the statistic is analyse by overall usage the longer you use the more accuate it becomes
