choosing between a Sony A33 and D3100...cant really make the choice...anyone recommend me?
*
i had a friend who was contemplating between this two model as well
here's a good review on a33 - http://www.stevehuffphoto.com/2010/11/09/t...-camera-review/
the a55 (similar to a33 but with slightly more features such as 16MP, GPS), has been voted as camera of the year

is the air dusty?
i was thinking it might be reflection of dirty air or dust particle from the flash captured by the sensor

fansoption : Like that confirm is use high f number coupled with fast shutter speed and control flash to your subject only. Don't let it spill to the background. The small aperture opening and fast shutter speed will kill the ambient light.
*
does it work with built in flash or only for external flash only?

gjtan: yes, u shud try on ur gundams.
8tvt: flash from bottom for gundam? i agree with albnok, shud increase DoF.
cjlai: i would prefer a to zoom to the head of the eagle if i wanna show that it's aiming on something.
evilhomura89: i like #7 better coz the flash isn't that harsh, #8 looks a little harsh to me.
*
i didn't use flash for these shot, but the sunlight was quite strong that day (no clouds)

Lol. It differs by 200 only lol. Also, A55 has a built in GPS. For me, I rather A55 anyday over A33 XD

But anyways, welcome to the club.
*
well, some people are really limited by their budget hence had no choice but to opt for the cheaper a33
same scenario with my friend, maximum 2k budget, d3100 does fit the bill nicely with maybe 50-100 to spare but with extra 100 for the additional features in a33 is a very well worth investment as their budget still can be stretched by a lil bit

Was looking at D3100 initially, but went with A580 instead LOL.
2k enough to get A33 wad? Add 100 more nia lol.
I rather eat less 1 month than 2 settle for stg poorer.
*
haha, i was looking at NEX-3/5 before switching my attention to the a33/55 n finally decided on a580 tongue.gif
