lazlo: awesome shot... if theres a flaw, there would be 2 IMO. Not symmetrical enough and the flare is distracting. smile.gif nice one tho.

greyshadow: if really cant bring all 3.. then definitely 18-55 and 50mm 1.8... BUT, if you intend to UP the ISO until 1600-3200, then dont need to bring the 50mm...

eddybeh: I think the repair cost is not worth it. might as well get another secondhand one... UNLESS of course if the repair can guarantee 100% chance it wont be faulty again then go for it.

mastering89: i just got myself an old tokina lens (not pro version)... and the flare is also bad.. like yours... i dont know whether its flare or coating problem... but smaller than f4.5 then it can produce pretty sharp image.

guys, is the bagman dslr ( http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...90669&hl=bagman ) worth upgrading from the cheapo china camera bag that comes free with every camera purchase?
*
I would say definitely. Coz the bagman is like 7mdh... and the padding is also great... huge compartments and comfortable...

do u think it will attract less unwanted attention?
*
probably not. coz it looks like a camera bag anyway. tongue.gif but not as obvious as those lowepros la.

i need something that can be carried around everyday and to put my stuff required for uni (lecture notes, pencil case n water )too
since i'll be walking to uni daily, i'll need something that will look just like a normal sling bags
any recommendation? if not have to try getting the materials for DIY
*
then you might want something smaller... the driftwood series bags are kinda of okay actually.. since its not so popular (i think), hence not alot of people would know its actually a camera bag.

wa...walk to uni with your camera gear a...

firstly, its dangerous.

2nd, its damn heavy.  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  and you are going to add water bottle some more.
*
yeah. i wouldnt recommend bringing with a bottle inside. HAHA.... and also i seldom (never actually) bring my camera to college.. I dont want to look like a douche swinging my DSLR around my neck.

but again, as I said, you might want to look at the Driftwood bags.

I think, bagman and crumpler is 2 diff type of quality bag.

In my observation, crumpler seemed to be more thick n sturdy compared to bagman. But since I have never used a bagman b4, might as well say my comment is quite useless except that it reinforce the fact that crumpler has quite decent QC compared to others la.
*
i think bagman is a superb alternative to crumpler.. since crumpler's prices are quite steep.

evilhomura89: simple. I think its shot using fast fps (or whatver you call it on video) - like shooting slow mo vids. put the handycam/camera/vidcam on a tripod and hop on a train and let the train move... and there you have it.

haha... chill la... let that white balance whiner say want he wants to say.

and i like using an 'inferior' brand. shows that i dont have to rely on 'superior' product to show off my superior skills.. AHAHAHA just kidding ~~~!

its no doubting that C and N do have much much better higher end models. but we normal casual shooters cant afford those kind of gears.
