A55/A33 is also like NEX, but using A-mount only lol. A55 damn small if compared to A580 >"> But both fits my hands ironically.  laugh.gif

Too bad, A580 is priced 200 bucks more than A55 >"> Lol.

to be honest... how many of us really use the 3/5/7/10FPS function? i know some of use do, but how many? I rarely see and sport photographers here... or any birding photos... but even then, do they pan or do they burst is another question... or maybe both... tongue.gif

I have never used the burst mode on my a700... nor on my previous a100.

dont know. but what I do know is ive seen someone using reversal rings and tube extenders to get a 16:1 magnification.

Reversing another lens, in front of your current lens, is easier, but if it's a Sony/Minolta lens you need to figure out how to open the aperture blades. Also, the 50mm F1.4 is best for this application because its rear element is big enough.

Also, you'd need to use the telephoto end or face vignetting. The magnification is the ratio of the focal length of the lens on camera, to the lens reversed.

Let's see who can figure out what the magnification of a 50mm reversed in front of a 75-300mm lens set to 300mm, is!

Mikeshashimi: If there is just one lens and it is reversed, you cannot control aperture or focus from camera.

If you use the reverse lens in front of main lens, you can zoom, set aperture, and even focus!
*
The magnification would be 6:1 no?

In the event only 1 lens is used (reversed), how then do we focus? hmm.gif
