by the way, 85mm f/2.8 has been reviewed over the internet.. sharpness not to my expectations though... if price is on par with sp90, i'd go for the tamron..
*
is the 85mm good for macro?

guys, is the bagman dslr ( http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...90669&hl=bagman ) worth upgrading from the cheapo china camera bag that comes free with every camera purchase?

I would say definitely. Coz the bagman is like 7mdh... and the padding is also great... huge compartments and comfortable...
*
do u think it will attract less unwanted attention?

probably not. coz it looks like a camera bag anyway. tongue.gif but not as obvious as those lowepros la.

i need something that can be carried around everyday and to put my stuff required for uni (lecture notes, pencil case n water )too
since i'll be walking to uni daily, i'll need something that will look just like a normal sling bags
any recommendation? if not have to try getting the materials for DIY

wa...walk to uni with your camera gear a...

firstly, its dangerous.

2nd, its damn heavy.  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  and you are going to add water bottle some more.
*
plenty of events in uni...somehow,no matter where u keep, it's dangerous..i'm staying in a rented place, so security is not top notch, if break-in, it would be even more heartbreaking
esp i'm now involved with dance club, so i guess having it around is good rather than regretting missing anything interesting

Since you guys are talking about bags, just wondering whether any of you here is an owner of Crumpler 5/6 Million Dollar Home? Is 5 Million dollar home good enough for a body, kitlens, 50mm prime and a flashgun?
*
my friend had a crumpler 5MDH..can fit one body attached to kit, one 50mm prime, some filters..but i doubt a flashgun can fit anymore
it's a bit small for that

Yeah 6MDH seems slightly taller. I'm still stucked with a choice between the sling or backpack. But 6MDH looked more stylo. laugh.gif
*
same here, i always preferred slingbags..move in style tongue.gif
i'm thinking..is bagman a good alternative to crumpler? crumpler comes with lifetime warranty hmm.gif

i read this one somewher. the user use a camera (Casio High Speed EXILIM EX-FH20) with a very high fps recording capability (210fps) and then playback in normal 30fps. thats why become like dat.  nod.gif
(http://www.petapixel.com/2010/11/25/slow-m...t-from-a-train/)
damn this Casio High Speed EXILIM EX-FH20:  shocking.gif (link)
-shutter speed range from 30sec to 1/40000s
-full resolution 9mp can take around 1fps
-at 8mp can take 30fps
-7mp = 40fps OMG  doh.gif
-video can take at 30fps (good quality), 210fps (lesser quality), 1000fps (least quality)
*
n that camera has been on the market for 2 years already
