ok so i didnt screw the screws on my vapor4 really tightly as im worried that i will sumhow damage the phone. my action only resulted in 2 missing screws. one from each side. no idea why it happened so coincidentally. but fortunately, i found them in my jean pocket.
anyone knows whether screwing the screws too tight will result in any damage? and urm, i think i should ask now first just in case: anyone knows where to get the screws? only the screws, just in case i really happen to misplace them in the future. |

QUOTE(calvin_gsc @ Jan 24 2011, 10:38 PM) read somewhere that you can over tighten to a point where you can't take your iphone 4 out unless u pry it open. (for "oem" vapor 4 case) i think even if you do not over-tighten, you cant take the iPhone out, whether OEM or not. hahha it wudnt b a casing if it can just come out like that.lol. |

one question: is it just me or is Atomic just imitating's Vapor's design and just changing to material to make it less prone to signal issues like that of the Vapor? i feel Vapor's the real genius for coming up with the design and Atomic is just ripping it off. Atomic feels like Inspira to me.

QUOTE(firecrac @ Jan 30 2011, 05:08 PM) hmm... hahha bro do elaborate. hope the part that you disagree with me is nothing to do with you selling it.lol. dont wry la, i dont mean anything offensive by saying what i said. just personal opinion. how to say, if u understand how the things works, u for sure would not bring in any metal material in the design of the casing. as a consumer, i would believe that u buy something for the beneficial of own, and not for other to see... but it is still up to personal to see the scenario, i would agree with you on some part and also disagree with you in that too.. besides the color combination, both the brands seems very similar. |

QUOTE(firecrac @ Jan 31 2011, 01:47 AM) huh ? nah chill. no hard feelings. nah.. it goes nothing againts me... takda sales, i order sendiri... hehe but i can say everyone is copying each other in the industries and try to be pioneer... and Vapor do wins in term of metallic feel of the products ... i saw both of them b4 and hold them in my hand, and both of them are tremendous gorgeous ! maybe due to my job, i am more promptly been attracted by usability and functionality of the products, i dont pay for things which will eventually lowered my functionality (in this case, signal, i used this phone extensively for calls, emailing, GPS, SMS, some job related apps, etc etc... signal is always my first priority). But anyway, it is just me, u might see it differently, thats is why i said disagree |

QUOTE(Wazzzap @ Feb 5 2011, 04:52 AM) May I ask what major and minor differences about iPhone casings between the genuine and non-genuine ones. Any damage using the non-genuine ones? i think even genuine cases are sometimes harmful to your phone. i tried my friend's iphone case, one's that totally transparent made out of plastic. ended out leaving a line on the bevel side of the phone. Thanks in advance. |

QUOTE(s3an_looi @ Feb 5 2011, 03:59 PM) I hav used many cases really considering doing this. getting tired of the vapor4 bulkiness. - silicon layer and plastic layer tough case - hoco leather case - SGP ultra thin - vapors silver, ar15 and frost In the end sold everything and now I am using a rm20 super thin 'barely there' type case. All ports accessible and no hindrance. And the phone feels as slim as it should be. |

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Feb 6 2011, 09:48 PM) ^ i imagine sgp neo hybrid ex is harder to take off (never tried apple bumber before) but the inner silicone layer wont make u feel like the casing is hurting the phone no i meant like i need to press (bend) the phone kinda hard to take the bumper off. mm might consider neo hybrid too but a lil ex for something similar to the apple bumper. |

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Apr 12 2011, 04:46 PM) i think if an iphone fall down, 90% chance the sides will hit the ground 1st, not the back/screen. back/screen just protect from scratch only, so SP would be enough. that's y i like bumper style, enough protection and also preserve the thinness of the phone. ![]() happened to me when i just took my vapor casing off to whipe my phone. sad cakes. now it is covered with the elementcase carbon vibre back. aihs.. |
