Go to DIY shop or ACE Hardwares and look for Ambersil brand's "Label Removal". Spray a lil' onto a cotton butt and clean ur case. Try not to wet the join areas of the case. It might clean off the glue that holds the rubber and the plastic together. Just clean the spots that is dirty. Any dirt or stain will come off almost immediately. Be very careful with it. Good luck!

I just got my IP4 today, any recommendations for screen protector? How's Capdase? I'm thinking of Invisible Shield, any comments?
*
Go for Power Support Crystal Clear or SGP Oleophobic SPs. Don't ever touch the Invisible Shield.

go buy from SG hardwarezone forum. cheaper. only S$45.
GS selling RM1xx

SGD45 = RM110. You haven't add the shipping cost in. It'll be almost the same price. And get the case on the day you buy from GS. Don't you think?

been using SGP Oleo for 1-2 months and oil is starting to get hard to remove...  :/

Just use a scotch tape to tape the PS and lift it to peel of the film easily. How can it be so hard?? hmm.gif

how about capdase screen protectors?

I know there's 3 common types.
Capdase IMAG screenguard Matt
Capdase AUMI bodifender Crystsal Clear
Capdase ARIS Crystsal Clear Anti Glare

The descriptions are about the same to me.

Btw, i went to subang parade today and this lady in the shop told me there's a capdase clear screen protector but it does not leave finger print marks. I am quite curious whether it is true.  hmm.gif
*
Don't get the Capdase Crystal Clear PS, they tends to have rainbows effect to the screen.
Especially under tungsten/florescent lights. You won't go wrong with SGP or PowerSupport SP.
Hope that helps. Cheers! icon_rolleyes.gif

just wondering, how long have you been using the sp?

Since September. laugh.gif
And all my friends found it very good and installed too. To-date, no complaints or whatsoever about the SGP Oleophobic SPs but praises of my recommendation to them instead. thumbup.gif

Every individuals have their own point of view and ways of usages. Just like Lamborghini and Ferrari. The debates will never ends.

But for Anti-Glare and Crystal Clear, it's a different story.
For example: with today's technologies, more and more LED TVs are getting better and better with sharper, crisper and more vibrant colors.
And almost all of them are crystal clear glass panels. Almost none are anti-glare panels these days.
My point is, iPhone 4 now comes with Retina Display generating better picture quality providing sharper and clearer pictures. Why would you want to degrade it's features due to finger-prints and such? But it still ends with each individuals' choices to sacrifice the picture quality over finger-prints/glides or vice-versa. And the saga continues... Peace! icon_rolleyes.gif

If not mistaken, I saw SGP iPhone 4 Case Neo Hybrid EX Series RM179 at Mac Studio LowYat and Times Square.
Which Mac shop or other place I can get cheaper?
*
Cannot be. I bought it at MacStudio @ LowYat for only RM139.
Unless they up the price for it being too popular in demand?

Harvey norman got sell SGP also ~ but i havent seen the Ex hybrid one case, but the back protector, the SP, yes they sell  cool2.gif

Yes, they do sell SGP products. But it's so much more expensive to buy it there. I'd advice to purchase it at the Garage Sales here in the forum. Cheaper and they deliver to you instead of purposely go park your car at shopping complex and waste so much petrol in the jam just to get a case.

Went to MacStudio earlier today. Yes, my buddy works there told me that they up the price for the SGP Hybrid Neo Series due to popular demands. But the rest of the products remain the same price as before and some lowered like the SGP SPs.

Am using the SGP Neo Ex. Seriously, the item looks like it cost at most only RM30. Its more like paying a premium for the brand. Lol. Still lovin it though.

Yes, it does looked like that. But it comes with 2 x Screen Protectors that'll cost at least RM70 for the front and back + some accessories that added to an amount of RM100+. So, I think is quite reasonable to sell it at RM120-RM139. But higher than that is definitely not worth it.

you got casing, and the back of your phone scratches? inside of the silicon casing? that is weird  hmm.gif
*
It's not weird at all. Silicone cases is soft and stretchy. Dusts & grimes will somehow get inside the case and sits right under your 3GS. You drop your phone into your pocket, when you walk, it flexes and rubbed the dusts or grimes against the back of your phone inside the silicone case. That's how you get it. But you can always use a car polishing products to help remove the hairline scratches.

The Blade metal bumper looks nicer than Vapor.
*
Have you actually seen it in real or just judging from the photos you saw?
Well, I wouldn't say it so soon without seeing the real thing.
IMHO, it looked alright when I first saw it 2 months ago. But personally I prefer the Vapor more as it's forms and functionality are carefully designed than just looking good. The Concave area on the right piece with the sim-card hole, is designed for perfect gripping when you hold your phone taking pictures or playing games. The deep gap on the left of the case keep away your fingers mis-pressing the volume button or sliding the mute slider. The bottom deep gap at the sync/charge/speaker/mic area, provides louder speaker sound and avoid bending and spoiling your original sync/charge cable head.

Btw do you realized that you don't get to see the back of the case installed from the pictures?
Cause it doesn't look that good. They uses the "+" head screws instead of Torx or Hex types like Vapor does.

Anyway, it's still up to each individuals' taste and way they looked at it.
Some like performance car with sport cars' looks and some just like the real sport cars. Peace icon_rolleyes.gif

i bought both blade and vapor (pink/black). will compare when the both comes. but i prefer the blade for pure aesthetic reasons and the single color option compare to vapor dual color options and accessory hole. will give the vapor to my gf.

both designs are different compare to blade vs vapor. and so is the installation i guess. but i got a good feeling on blade, those guys are experts machinist they do customs fishing??? components and prolly did this for test market or by the way type thingy for fun and  u won't see blade as common as vapor ;p Koreans uses WCDMA2100 mostly and iphone has taken the country by storm and sometimes blame for the 20% slowdown in network traffic.

i have no issues with either philips or torx or hex, but i do prefer philips + or hex. than torx, torx tools are hard to come by. compare to + or hex. And yes there is 3 huge pictures of the back of the blade. and i dun see the + screws on them. they are prolly hidden or recessed, but u can see them screws on the video.

FYI, locally here, we already have a supplier starts offering to resellers 2 months ago.
Yes, Blade does looked good in those catalog photos. But all I can say is, it's different when you look at it in real.
Great! You can then give us all a better reviews when your items arrived and tested. Make sure you take more photos of both the cases wide and close-up. Cheers!

As I have mentioned it. There's already a local supplier who is bringing in the stocks for resellers.
You'll be surprised once it's widely distributed nationwide with Blades. I won't want to say it that loudly about which is going to be very common at the end of the day... rolleyes.gif whistling.gif

I tested dropping and throwing it on the floor and it bounces off without any scratches or dents to the device thumbup.gif
Ehh... Of course I tried it with her functionless iPod Touch 3 (not the newly bought iPod Touch 4) sweat.gif

Then it should be 90-99% than stating it as a 100% same. It's a bit misleading... Just my 2 cents icon_rolleyes.gif

guys i need a lil help here. just got ak neo hybrid ex for my sis. yday i tried to put on the ultra clear sp that came together with the casing. back sp was ok but for the front sp i kinda screwed up maybe due to some invisible dust now there are quite a few bubbles. i ady tried readjusting the sp a few times but to no avail. is there anything else i can do to salvage that sp as it's not that cheap. i wouldnt mind throwing it away if it's a cheapo sp.

was thinking of washing the sp and reattaching it again. is it possible? would really appreciate if u guys can give me ur opinions.
*
Peel off slowly by using a magic tape taped on the edge of the SP. You don't have to peel off the whole piece but lifting up on the area where you find bubbles. Use the magic tape to tape off the dust spots that have bubbles, on the screen and the under the SP. Then re-apply it again and again... It takes time to apply it, so be very patient. Make sure your surrounding is clean and not windy or under the fan. Best place to do it is in the shower room, after shower (Don't work on any wet surfaces. Remember to place a towel under before working on it). Hope it helps! Cheers!

Just installed the sgp oleo on my i4, compared to my previous sp (bodyguardz) this sgp oleo is really much clearer.. Plus it doesnt have the orange peel effect tat the bodyguardz sp seem to have, as all wet based sp do..

My only concern now is that like some forumers experienced, the oil resistant filter will wear off over time. Nevertheless i'd still recommend this sgp oleo over bodyguardz..

P/s: after i applied there's a bubble ar the bottom left of my phone, in my experience with the bodyguardz sp, bubbles fo dissapear after a few days, just wondering is this the same for sticker based sp as well? Any1 experienced this before?
*
Well, some says... But don't you think that at least you have the oil resistant coating on your SP than those totally none at all, just plain crystal clear SP? So, what if it wears off? At least you still have the crystal clear SP there. You'll only replace it if got scratched. So, you shouldn't be too worried about it. So does every SGP Oleophobic SP owners like myself.

For the bubble at the bottom left of your phone. Well, if you let it be as is, it should be fine after a day or two.
Or if it still persist, you can gently use a magic tape to tape the area that caused the bubbles on the screen and under the SP, then apply it back. That should do the job. You can find some good tutorials in YouTube for applying SP if you want to see how it's done. Cheers!
