QUOTE(G-17 @ May 11 2011, 11:23 AM) My setup on an old Pentium dual-core. ![]() ![]() Distro: GRML / Kernel: 2.6.38-6.slh.1-aptosid / WM: ScrotWM / Shell: Zsh Xdefaults: Custom Web-safe scheme / Font: -Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Semicondensed-*-12-110-75-75-C-60-ISO10646-1 On Screen: ScrotWM Man Page, MPD+Ncmpcpp, Weechat-curses, Vim with custom theme showing my Zsh config file. Edit1: Sorry. Just noticed I got the thumbnail size wrong. Still within the forum rules, I think. Edit2: Still waiting for you to post your tiling setup, farkinid-chan!! so a few more question if u dont mind 1- i run fc-list in terminal, showing all available font, now how to use it in scrotwm.conf, just copy paste the name? 2- what else need to be customized, i supposed not scrotwm.conf alone? and mind sharing the scrotwm.conf for this one |

QUOTE(G-17 @ Aug 6 2012, 12:46 AM) I gather you just installed version 1.2.0? ya, don't really know what's went wrong, here's spectrwm.conf and conkyrc.Pastebin your ~/.spectrwm.conf and ~/.conkyrc if you want me to take a look. For those seeking stability, I'd suggest sticking with 1.1.2 for the time being. Marco (the lead dev) just switched spectrwm to XCB in 1.2.0 (which he classifies 'beta'). A few bugs right now. spectrwm » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « conkyrc » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « i tried replacing the bar action with baraction.sh , and it outputted just fine.also the conky output works fine when I type it in the terminal |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « alright, already making the changes, hm the only difference now is ten dashes right after the clock, which I assume the +U,tried uncomment urgent_enabled also doesn't make any changes. and yeah, just by startx which I include exec spectrwm in my ~/.xinitrc, here it is CODE xset -b & xset +fp /usr/share/fonts/local & xset fp rehash & xrdb -merge ~/.Xresources & urxvtd -q -o -f & feh --bg-scale /home/xxx/Desktop/ac.jpg & xbindkeys & sleep .2 exec spectrwm |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « yeap that would be my post i'm using the standard conky, not the conky-cli version from aur, not sure if it's about dbus issue, as X will crash randomly whenever I clicked on link in eiskaltdc++ which never crashed before this upgrade. hmm, replacing my spectrwm.conf with the one you give seems to works fine, I guess it's time to rebuild my conf, must've some mistake somewhere with my conf. thanks for the help! edit: o wait- finished editing the new conf, yet the conky is gone, hm why it is shown when I just commented out baraction, hmm edit2: 2nd attempt editing new config, it all works fine now This post has been edited by fJok3R: Aug 7 2012, 01:51 PM |
