Regarding my case,i've emailed protonaftersales 2days ago before went to proton service near my location.The CS frm KL called me this evening,told me that he already follow up my case with the service center near my location and my report had been recorded.The CS also promised that he'll try to get my case resolved asap and i'll be updated from time to time by the service center near my location.

I'd say PCS quite fast and friendly.I hope my case will be resolved asap as promised by him.


Btw,here's some pics of my steering.I've lipat the airbag n push it abit inside the steering.




I don't know about the pricing at ur location but i've just replaced both sides for my gentu.RM68/per side.Mitsubishi or mitsobishi.

i thought the horn cover will pop out in 1 piece when the airbag come out..
so scary if the horn cover torn into pieces and flying to your face..
this airbag can save your life but not your face..

maybe the sound of the starter..

conroe..very scary lor saw ur pics..the horn cover shattered n if the pieces hit ur face aiyoooo...insert an airbag is a safety but in this case seems like PROTON just add another safety problem to the driver...

rileks arr...mcm tak biasa plak...yesterday evening i pull out itu besi..looks like mcm small screwdriver but handle suda tarak..cis... ...luckily my tyre tak bocor..

oh small screw driver... but u still need to go to tyre shop/diy to tampal bocor.. for safety purposes.

no need to tampal...already 2 day still ok...hehee...itu besi cucuk tepi so tak bocor..

Yeap bro,proton should put their airbag mechanism/mechanical into better study before release it on cars.The horn cover fails big time coz shattered into pieces.

Yeah,there is already few cases before mine.I really thank god for the slight bruises on my hand and went pekak for about 20mins coz if kena my eyes,i guarantee can be blind.

Now waiting for proton to update me and get my gentu done asap.
