I know about their dividend as I already makan their dividend since I was a baby ikan bills. biggrin.gif Already dropped below my target price to buy in but if EPF is unloading, might as well wait for the price to drop further.

take note that result is coming soon... i'm just monitoring.. no action tongue.gif

QUOTE(drsaleh @ Nov 12 2010, 12:32 PM)
Uchi's price usually stable around <1.30. if got bullet, can enter. but what I dont like about this counter is that the divvy payment is reducing. dunno about upcoming divvy.. if improve, sign to go in
*
divvy reduce coz EPS reduced.. last year they paid almost 82% of net profit as divvy.. thats very generous imo..
and this year 1H EPS is already as good as last year's full year EPS.. so i believe divvy payout will be better..

maybe they'll declare a 4c divvy this qtr and 4c next qtr.. total to 8c.. 6.2% gross yield..

Something is better than nothing

Finance ministers from the G-20 will work next year on a system to assess the path of global current-account imbalances, German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters in Seoul, where she attended a summit of the leaders of the world’s largest developed and emerging economies. The G-20 are scheduled to release a joint statement later today.

A U.S. government official said the meeting also produced a consensus that exchange-rate changes are to happen gradually. The American official, speaking to reporters on condition of anonymity, said the U.S. was encouraged by progress on the Chinese currency. The International Monetary Fund can help referee the debate over lopsided trade flows, the official also said.

Petronas Chemicals Institutional IPO Priced At MYR5.20/Share - Source

KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd. has priced the institutional portion of its initial share sale at MYR5.20, which is at the higher end of its guidance of between MYR4.50 and MYR5.20, a person familiar with the matter said Friday.

This means that Malaysia's biggest petrochemicals producer by volume will raise MYR12.9 billion ($4.17 billion), making it Southeast Asia's largest ever IPO, eclipsing that of Maxis Bhd. (6012.KU), which raised MYR11.2 billion last November.

"The institutional portion was priced at the top end of the range, MYR 5.20," the person said.

Petronas Chemicals is selling a total of 2.48 billion shares, 72% of which are new shares with 28% from parent Petroliam Nasional Bhd. Proceeds raised will be used to expand the business and for synergistic growth acquisitions.

Malaysian pension funds The Employees Provident Fund and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan--last month committed to taking up 18% of the IPO. Apart from the portion taken up by the pension funds, 37% will be offered to ethnic Malay investors, 33% will be for book building and 12% will be for retail investors.

Based on its enlarged share capital of 8 billion shares, Petronas Chemicals is expected to list with an initial market capitalization of up to MYR42 billion, putting it among the country's top five stocks.

Petronas Chemicals manufactures chemical compounds, fertilizers, industrial and specialty chemicals. It has an annual production capacity of 11 million metric tons and is Southeast Asia's largest producer by volume of methanol and ethylene glycol, chemicals widely used in antifreeze.

The company, which posted a net profit of MYR2.59 billion on revenue of MYR12.2 billion in the year ended March 31, is seeking to list Nov. 26 on the local stock exchange.

The bookrunners for the offer are CIMB, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley, while Citigroup Inc. © and UBS AG (UBS) are co-bookrunners.

Some stocks like Titan, Astro, Measat, Tanjong , Sunrise, Jerneh , Kulim, Timecom got gorenged up before the release of the actual news.

Even Panamy got gorenged before a good dividend.

So you happened to own some of these stocks, you are termed as a gorenger.

KUALA LUMPUR: MALAYAN BANKING BHD []’s earnings were RM1.028 billion in the first quarter ended Sept 30, 2010, up 16.6% from RM881.80 million a year ago.

It said on Friday, Nov 12 revenue rose to RM5 billion from RM4.56 billion. Earnings per share were 14.53 sen versus 12.46 sen.

Maybank said the net interest income increased by 9% or 146.9 million due to improvements in the group’s operations from higher net interest income margins in Malaysia arising from increases in the overnight policy rate and expansion of market in Indonesia.

It said income from Islamic Banking operations decreased by RM43.3 million or 11.3% to RM338.2 million due to higher provision for profit equalization reserves in the Islamic business but mitigated by increase in growth in assets which increased gross income in Islamic business.
