I doubt they will sell, mainly because of cash cow status of KFC. Maybe sell QSR and KULIM to KFC? hehe So Jcorp get the money from KFC and still earn KFC money. Win-Win.
*
that's quite weird, cuz Kulim owns part of QSR which owns part of KFC. it's almost as if its a reverse takeover of QSR and Kulim by KFC. of which Jcorp the indirect shareholder through kulim .. hmm.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

it's probably selling off QSR to pay off their debt , what me thinks << blush.gif

ok wait i just confused myself. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

TopGlov and Kossan are doing good (I am not monitoring other glove stocks) most probably due to the possible outbreak of H5N1?

New kid on the block. Petronas Chemicals (PetChem), to be listed on
26 Nov (tentative), will immediately feature as a FBMKLCI 30 stock.
At
a market value of RM41.6b on listing, it will be the 5th largest stock on
Bursa. Financials will remain the largest sector, followed by plantations
and telcos. Nestle may find its way back into the index this year-end,
replacing Malaysia Airlines – but we think the possibility is remote at
this juncture. The revised FBMKLCI 30 line-up (with PetChem) will
have a positive impact on our present 2011 YE KLCI target of 1,660.

Added on
prepare for some KLCI on PetChem listing day.....
temporary increase ur account limit to goreng PetChem tongue.gif

Congrats to Kfc/Kulim/Qsr holders! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Another telco is entering the market.

I always heard its radio ad on FM. Never see/use before.

===

XOX awaiting call

XOX Bhd is planning to raise about RM40m in its IPO, making it Malaysia’s first full-fledged mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) to be listed on the local stock exchange.

The IPO, which is awaiting the Securities Commission’s (SC) final approval, will test investors’ appetite for MVNOs, mobile phoneoperators that rent air time from incumbent operators like Celcom Axiata, Maxis or Digi, which operate in a highly saturated market.

MVNOs target a niche that is either neglected or difficult to enter by incumbents. For XOX, its expertise lies in the urban Chinese market. XOX’s prospectus is expected to be launched in December or the 1Q of next year. AmInvestment Bank is arranging the IPO which involves 53m new shares (Business Times)

Rubber Gloves:
• First bird flu case detected in Hong Kong since 2003.
• Neutral stance on the sector as the near-term outlook remains challenging.
