MSI Mini OC Gathering As usually, we usually make a mini oc gathering each month so that we can try to break some records or testing out new hardwares. That day was no exception. After the gathering, i actually head over to sanko's place. Dblooi this time was able to come,been a while since i see him. And also i never expected xixo_12 and kuntawakaw to be there also, glad to see them benching that night. Event: MSI Mini OC Gathering
Date: 18th September 2010
Location: Sanko's Lair
Participants: dblooi,xixo_12,kuntawakaw, Lacus, SkyNoEye, Jonesy, Sanko The Setup The 2 system used. MSI MSI 870A Fuzion Power Edition and MSI Big Bang Fusion. Benching Session! Dblooi and kuntawakaw setting up the Ninja 3 Heatsink on Msi Big Bang Fusion xixo_12 starts extreme overclocking on the MSI 870A Fusion Power Edition. adding more LN2 from time to time as usual System on fire!!!....No, it's just Ln2 =p Starting up the system! xixo_12 overclocking... Results All the above results are being done by xixo_12,kuntawakaw,dblooi,sanko, lacus *poor xixo_12, bench till feeling sleepy at around 12a.m+ that day  *  |

Personal VerdictPersonally, i find the motherboard quite well design and overclocking wise it's quite decent although we were on beta bios during the test. For the price range of Rm4xx - Rm5xx, one could actually get a motherboard from the best of both worlds, this is due to the board has a lucid hydra chip too  *i have a thing for Lucid Hydra * Another thing is, overclocking wise comparing to the non Power Edition seems to be much more better and also this comes with newer chipset instead of the 770 chipset which the 870A has.
