Firstly, the hair sculpt is really bad. I handled a genuine one before and it'll never look like that.
Secondly, the body color is off. It's supposed to be pale and not that yellowish. The color fading just after the knees is another pointer.
Either that or you're just one of those rare victims of a very poor QC. I pity that you paid RM3XX for this.

and I think that shop you are buying from should be blacklisted for cheating customer by selling a bootlegged with original price

and yes, I owned a genuine BRS so I noticed the difference especially the hair part.

THe color skin is because i use photoshop 2 desaturate the color.
But still, the head color is abit different with the body.

The box is big, n got a hologram sticker... if this 1 is not genuine, i wanna sell it now~! RM100!! or should i go n complaint to the shop?

complaint. demand a refund (even though it seems highly unlikely it'll happen)

maybe there needs to be a blacklist stickied listing sellers practicing such ugly activities (if there isnt already one) ._x

Not too fond of that design. But because of Koto's quality, i have skipped Maxima and Kaguya.

I'll just wait for MF or GSC's version. I'm sure they'd come in a more interesting pose as well.

yeah i get what you mean. i initially po'd maxima, but there was just something about the way they incorporated her feet to the stand that was just not right to me.

Not right as in not sturdy or weird looking? Care to elaborate? Would be useful information to people who are considering to pick up Maxima's reissue in November.

sorry, i meant weird looking since where her feet ends and the stand begins is basically a solid piece and was just painted on to "split" the two.

and i wouldnt expect anyone to complaint about it's sturdiness imo, she's basically bolted onto the stand :x

MF's Seena Kanon Swimsuit Version had a similar pose but her feet and the stand are two different pieces. And that figure leans.

mmhm. i'm keeping a close eye on my momohime (alter) too. because, well. yeah. lol

in case the picture isnt self explanatory, all her weight is focused on a teeny weeny _stub_ underneath her left foot :s

Speaking as an owner of Momohime as well, i don't think it'll lean. I guess the weight is balanced on the center and i think her lower leg is made from the sturdier ABS rather than PVC. I'm keeping my eyes on her as well, but not because of fear of her leaning.

for both of our sake, i hope you're right! :P

have you tried to replace her inside the box just to see if her pose is still in proportion?

Unfortunately, i've already thrown away the plastic tray due to space constraints.

But i don't think she leaned because i placed the hilt of the sword about 1 cm away from the wall of the shelf and the distance between the two are still the same after so many months.
