Individually a bit plain for a 1/6 but I believe when displayed as a trio could possibly be very nice.
How is Clays' quality? DOn't think i have ever gotten anything manufactured by them.

so no one has any idea on how good Clays is? would not want to preorder and then see something like sentinel's quality (might as well buy at discounted prices from the bargain bin later)

Waaah, i want GSC's saber lily too. cancelled my PO as thre were too many other releases in January and now kenot find anymore

something must be wrong with me cause i tak ada rasa langsung
ample time to preorder it, and june/july's a quiet month for me, but tak beli... maybe because i tak minat bikes.

regret not ordering though, can be a useful pawn for trades or to make a quick buck, although the fact that GSC is starting to re-release their popular PVCs/figmas puts a dampener on the goreng-ness.


ultimate madoka to be as popular? yet to P.O. that either as it doesn't seem much 'madoka' enough for me - she was like that in the anime for all of 1 minute?

she's a smaller scale - perhaps GSC decided that 1/7 will cost too much.

There is a reason why her 'actual product' photos in HobbySearch and AmiAmi doesn't show those shoulder straps - they are a real pain to plug in place - two thin pieces of flexible plastic

But methinks the straps are the things that make her pose!

looking at the side by side photos, i'd say she's smaller than 1/8. either that or saber lily is a large-ish 1/7.
some manufacturers are terribly inconsistent methinks when it comes to scaling. In particular I find megahouse's 1/8 sizing all over the place, some besar some kecil.

maybe i'm a bit particular - it isn't only the height that i look at, it is the overall proportions and head size i suppose.

i also find senhime's scale to be off amongst the four alter samurai girl pvcs that i own.

p.s. good to see this thread active again, many of the pvc collectors seem to have moved on to hottoys.

after all the trouble getting her clothes back on properly after removing the plastic protectors, me thinks not!

koto is really hit and miss. better wait and see the final product as most koto PVCs don't sell out.

why? re-releases cheapens the original?
i don't quite think so - it makes the hobby more accessible to others.

however rereleases do throw a spanner into my budget

hmm... megahouse decided to do something slightly different to their plain bases for the Queen's Blade line - instead of the usual plain transparent or colour flat plastic, izumi's is transparent but with some minimal decals/painting.
