If you did not get the prompt when connecting to your pc, you can always slide down the notification bar and click on it to set the connection to charge only, disk drive, usb tether, etc.

It is just me or Asian Froyo ROM do not have the Internet pass-through option?

EDIT: Okay, I think I just found out. Need to install HTC Sync software on the PC to enable this option. Will try.
