how can backup current 2.2 stock rom from HTC before flashing custom rom? I want to try other rom but at the same time want to backup current rom. Google around but seem that currently there is no way to backup stock rom. is that true?

I'm still using legend with blayo rom. Tempting to buy new phone with dual core.
