is it too soft till u cant hear in shopping centre?

Yeah i am. Shock both from using HTC charger and while charging from usb. Was wondering if anyone else has this issue before i consider to take it to HTC service centre.

this apps got help in gps? i have installed this apps on my N1 good apps but if the phone is inside the building than it is another story can tell :/

my colleague still stick with stock os which is version 2.1 eclair, or this phone have to wait for very long to lock the satellite signal?

Just updated my HTC Legend to Froyo. New things that I noticed
1. Live wallpapers
2. Wifi Hotspot (No need for Azilink app anymore)
3. Flashlight app
4. New Youtube app
5. Option to move Apps to SD Card

Overall UI screen transitions feel smoother. The Messages app SMS reversed sort order issue is fixed.

Overall feel of the upgrade: Two thumbs up!

Wait a while for them to load, apps that you've A2SD take a while to populate the app drawer upon reboot (especially noticeable if you are not using a Class 4 or faster MicroSD).

Is your Angry Birds (Eclair) from GetJar or Android Market?

The one I got from GetJar ran like melted butter; the one from the Marketplace ran like frozen turds when I was using Eclair.

There's a fella selling KingMax Class 10 MicroSDs in Garage Sales (Mem/Drives). Not necessary, of course, but great if you are willing to drop the coin.

Anything Class 4 and up is sufficient, really.

I use a Kingston 8GB, it's plenty for me, but "enough" or not is a question only you can answer for yourself

8GB good enough la. I'm using pendrive brand, 8GB Class 4. Please don't waste a Class 10 on it.

I got my angry bird ages ago from GetJar n YES, it runs like melted butter, only on certain stage that you'll feel the lagginess.
Noticeable stages are especially those with the tiny ice bird & black bomb bird. The rest should be smooth flow.
I'm using Kingmax 8Gb Class 4. No prob so far. I even partitioned to Ext3 so that i can fool my Froyo that my internal memory has extended. Haha.
N yes, it is very very sufficient Unless you wanna store your whole songs/ movies collection in it.
My stupidest thing to do was to partition 1Gb for my Ext3. A total waste of resources as your usage for Ext3 might be around just 300Mb when your ACTUAL internal memory runs out of space. So, anyone trying it, please use only 512Mb for Ext3.

For me, i will do it easily in the Recovery Mode. If you are still uncertain about what is Recovery Mode, please google it for additional info. It takes time for you to understand.

If No: Forget it. I know Froyo has the capability for certain software to be moved to SD, but as you see, it only moves a portion & left another portion dangling in our internal memory. Moreover, it is being supported by only a few softwares.

How come I can only move some apps to SD?

Okay, I just installed application manager from market. Just finish backing up, factory restoring now. I'll tell you if it works.

No. You can use the sd card currently in the phone. It'll make a backup folder so that you can restore it later.

Somehow I find the 3G connection weaker after the update.
The line keeps dropping. Had to resort to using wifi instead.

3G rock solid with the 47.51.35.17U radio. Never been better for me.

I used to lose 3G nearly every night and won't get it back until the morning.

Now, I might lose it once every couple of days for like a couple of minutes tops.

It's damn worth it! You're an idiot if you cancel it, trust me.

Just remember to do a factory reset after updating, it improves the speed.

Anyone can tell me how to use push notifications for Facebook 1.5?
It doesn't seem to work for me.

1. ringtones all koyak? mind telling me what u mean by that?
2. the pattern unlock not showing sometimes is because its a feature. go to setting -> security -> lock phone after. Turn that off.
3. To do factory reset, go to setting -> SD & phone storage -> factory data reset. Do a backup before doing it.
