Can someone please help me how to install the Papago X5 in the galaxy Tab

As after install the file NaviSea on the External SD it does not work at all.....

And i had tried to copy the folder of NaviSea to my Internal Storage then it will pop up an error message

"unsupported resolution : 600x1024"

can someone expert please help me................

just rename all 480X854 folders as 600x1024.

is it under NAVISEA folder just rename it

u must use pc to do it.

connect your SGT via USB.

search all folder with name "480X854", there are lots of them... mine has 5 .

i tried browse around the internet, and installed,

i renamed all the folder to 600x1024 liao.
but still got error message resolution not supported "480*720"

Cannot be helped at the moment..I even tried Papago X5 Galaxy tab version but still the same!

I copy NaviSEA to /sdcard and install PAPAGO X5 from market.
I also rename all "480X854" to "600x1024". When i run papago, I encountered the following error msg:

I already rooted my unit and using PandoHome 2 as launcher.

Try SYGIC Aura - works beautifully on the TAB. Its graphics is very much nicer and very user friendly interface

already try..so far i guess the best gps solution for TAB rite now..just have to pay for it..ehem2 verison dont know where to find..ahahhahah

hi , i have the problem bcos i have install the aura programe but when first run the aura configerate to downloaded , but i already have the maps in my sd card, i try copy and paste in the aura folder, i need to change file name or how? my file name is 'mys', tq for u help.

where did you download the thai version from? i could not find one at all. even the 'other' version

kalau awak semua rename folder tu, papago x5 cuma boleh run tapi tak boleh berfungsi sebab tak boleh detect GPS location,
buat masa ni masih belum ada cara lagi untuk pakai GPS Papago x5 for Galaxy tab.

other option anda boleh install GPS Software yang lain, contohnya sekarang saya pakai CoPilot Live, memang compatible untuk Galaxy Tab
cuma accuracy dia kurang sket 5-10% saja berbanding Papago X5

software tu anda boleh search kat torrent , search "copilot live full version", size file dia dalam 4.2gb (ini untuk map satu dunia),
tapi masa install kita cuma perlu pakai Map SE (south east asia) sahaja size dalam 110mb

harap ini membantu pengguna galaxy tab.

anda pasti dgn statement anda? ramai dah forumer termasuk saya boleh guna Papago X5 di SGT.

Saya dah buat cara tu, rename folder. Mulanya saya ingat tak dpt detact sattelite sebab dalam rumah, bila saya cuba kat luar rumah pun sama je, masih tak dapat detact juga. Sattelite icon masih blink tak henti2

Kemudian saya bawak device ke loyat, mintak tolong diorang install, sama juga masih tak dapat detact sattelite or current location.

Kemudian saya masih tak puas hati, pegi pulak ke kedai gps pro, dia cakap papago! X5 memang tak boleh pakai kat galaxy tab walaupun folder dah rename.

Kalo awak tak percaya cuma click detact current locaiton di papago galaxy tab awak, kalau jumpa lokasi awak , tahniah, tolong ajar saya caranya.



Frust tak leh pakai papago, saya install copilot live, memang success terus dpt detact current location, dan terus boleh guna gps. Dan semua function gps pun boleh pakai samada landscape or potrait.

'kedai gps pro' tu memang x pro ttg papago x5 dan SGT
kalau awak cari dalam thread ini dan yang lepas2....ramai forumer termasuk saya
menggunakan papago x5 versi thailand...mmg 100% perfect dan boleh run kat SGT.
kalau nk cepat lock gps kena upgrade kernel dan ROM lah....

any here can teach me how to install papago on galaxy tab...please PM me

copy ur NAVISea folder to internal SD than install the APK just thats all easy not understand just google it

Papago X5 no longer can use in SGT. We need to install Papago Thai which need to pay USD25.

what are you talking about... i can use it with out a problem at all....

Hi guys, if you want better full screen for galaxy tab (ie: the menu reside on the edge of the screen) go here:



and click install papago x5.1 for galaxy tab.

The only problem that I experience is that I can't see the menu labels in settings. Menu is there but no labeling, I still can change the setting but have to guess till I get the setting/language/routing etc that I want..

After install that Papago, would it work? Or need some kind of registration key?

its so easy..to run papago x5 on tab......it take two click n u r done.....provided u follow earlier instruction how to install on your tab...get lcd changer density its a pro program to change the screen resolution automatically.....set it to run on 240 click apply.....from then onward,you wont be getting any issue on compatibility, forget about spare parts or any other things.....just get lcd changer density n fire it up......trust me...u will get it in a second....up up n away....

hi there.. im new user of galaxy tab p1000. currently i am using papago x5, workingly just fine although sometimes its a bit slow to detect the satelite. Last few days, while im using it, i went in to setting & change the language to bahasa malaysia. after i select the language, blue screen appeared


there is a sound mentioning of detecting satelitte but no map nor home screen appeared. I've tried to uninstall & reinstall back but the same thing still appreared. How to reset this?

Indeed papago is one of the best GPS software for android but not until my friend introduce me to Sygic.

Sygic can fit nicely on landscape mode for my galaxy tab, unlike papago that i got.

I HAVE A SUCH SAME PROBLEM WITH UNSUPPORT RESOLUTION..
I'M USING GALAXY Y...
THE MESSAGE SHOWS "UNSUPPORT RESOLUTION 240X320"

SO WHICH FOLDER I HAVE TO RENAME IT AS 240X320? BECAUSE THE FOLDER WITH RESOLUTION 240X320 ALREADY HAVE IN THE MAPS FOLDER.

First of all please use small caps for typing...

Did you use X5? Because I'm able to use it without modification to those folder...

240X320 is already there. if it's not there, i don't think you can copy paste those of higher resolutions because the button placement will be out of your screen.

guys .. i had a problem here wonder if anyone came across this before..

there i was using my papago x5 with malaysia map and thailand map..

then suddenly hand itchy go change the spoken language to thai..

what happen is the screen turned blank .. nothing at all..

tried reinstalling papago and launching it ... seems like when i could only see the intro to x5 then blank screen..

what can i do ?

clear data in setting -> application

done that .. same thingy

delete the navisea folder and copy it back to your device...
